Hello, I (20F) am considering becoming an au-pair sometime in the next year or so. I already speak some Spanish and want to be able to become fluent, so I'd ideally want to go to a Spanish speaking country. My top country is Spain because I've been there before and loved the culture, however I've just heard a lot of Spain au-pair horror stories. Just wanting to hear opinions from others about au pairing in Spain or other Spanish speaking counties.
Does anyone else have really bad car sickness anxiety?? I didn't use to have this at all but I ONCE got car sick (though think it may have been food poisoning) about 2 years ago and ever since then I'm scared to be in a car if I'm not the passenger or driver. This sadly has prevented me from doing things. For example, I really want to go to another country for a few months to be an Au-Pair, but I'm anxious about getting sick if I'm in the car with the family or on public transport.
