Hi all, I had a question regarding messaging apps on the Titan 2 Elite. I have pre ordered the phone (not on kickstarter) and am coming from iOS/iPhone for the last 12 or so years, and I was curious about the default messaging app will be on the T2E.

Whatever that may be, do you you android users recommend using it? Or should I switch to something like WhatsApp right away?

Hey there. For the people in the USA who are getting a T2E, is anyone going to use US Mobile? I am thinking of running that service but don’t know if it will work. Happy to hear everyone’s thoughts on service providers and the T2E.

My desired outcome of using the T2E after some time will be doomscrolling reduced to a below detectable level. This means that my intended use case for the phone will be for it to serve as a purely functional device (notes, calendar, messaging, emails, etc). I’m tired of being sucked into social media, and my hope is that the smaller screen, keyboard, and lack of installed social media apps will force me to be more intentional with its use.

With that being said, there are moments where boredom will be understandable (my weekly long train commutes, airports/planes), and I’ll want to have some fun with something like an emulator of some kind, or a book to read.

Does anyone know what the most fun and usable emulators are for devices like the T2E? I’m really looking forward to retro gaming on it. Additionally, if you have any e-reader platforms that you reliably use on either your Titan 2, or any other smart phone, please share! Thanks so much.

Hi all! As the days tick by until I receive my Titan 2 Elite, I’ve been impatiently daydreaming about using the phone while I’m out and about doing things.

I lead a rather active, outdoorsy lifestyle, and I involve myself in hobbies that routinely result in me getting wet (for example: fishing on the open ocean in a kayak). As a current owner of an iPhone 14 Pro Max, I’ve never been worried about getting it wet as it is IP68 rated.

This has led me to one of my main questions: does anyone know if the T2E is water resistant, and if so, to what degree? I have not been able to find an answer to this yet online. If not, it’s no biggie, I will just have to be more cautious with the phone!

Over the last few months, like many of you, I have fallen in love with the T2E! I have been an iPhone user for over a decade, and this is the first time I have ever been persuaded to hop ship by a phone. Because I went back and forth about giving up the Apple ecosystem, I missed the kickstarter campaign, but still ordered one on July 1st.

This new adventure has led me to learn a bunch about android, launchers, sideloading, etc. All very cool stuff.

My question is this: does anyone know if android 17 will be available on the phone? Sorry if this is a silly question, it’s all new to me.

Also, does anyone have any tips and tricks for someone coming to android from iPhone?
