Okay, so I know it sounds bad but please stick with me.

I (m28) met a guy recently at a local event and I think we clicked pretty much instantly. I didn't know he felt any particular way towards me and honestly I'm not good at reading signals but we got along well.

We went on three dates and this was the third though technically the second since the first was never acknowledged as a date specifically.

Anyway, I never got any bad vibes or anything like that.

He was kind, quirky but not necessarily in a bad way, attractive and I'm not really a guy that draws in a crowd so this surprised me a lot.

But then it came to the third date and he dropped a bombshell and told me something that I just can't overlook.

I want to ghost him but that's not easy to do because we run in a lot of the same circles, that's obviously how we met and avoiding him entirely would probably mean I'd have to move and start all over again (I moved to this particular city almost a year ago due to personal circumstances)

So? WIBTAH if I ghost him or should I just be direct, I'm worried that if I do I'll be in danger but I'm not sure.

I plan to go to my local LGBT support centre near me and ask them for support should anything go awry but it's very stressful

P.s I don't know if I can disclose the nature of what I was told idk how Reddit allows such things but I will elaborate if you want.
