Embarrassed Seeing my Psychiatrist While in Restraints

I’m a middle aged female with BPD who now has a one + year history of self-harm while admitted to hospital and have justifiably spent time in restraints as a result. Yes, it is traumatic and humiliating, and yes, I understand why it was done.
The last time it happened my psychiatrist happened to be close by, likely in the nurses station, and came into my room before they finished placing me in restraints and before I got an injection. He did not appear at all impressed and wanted to know what precipitated my behaviour.
I trust and appreciate my psychiatrist but this time I was extremely embarrassed to see him while I was in this predicament. I wanted to ask if he could come back later but couldn’t bring myself to as I was afraid this was the only time I’d see him that day. He did, in fact, come back later.
How do I/should I communicate to him how I was feeling during that time? It was three weeks ago.
Is this enough information?

Difficult BPD inpatient

What is the most responsible reaction for psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses to respond to self-harm actions by someone struggling with BPD while in hospital?
- Removing most coveted personal item?
- Ignore?
- Restraints?
- Discharge?
- Any other ideas?

Difficult Self-Harming BPD Patient

Which responsible reaction could be better in front of negative provocations and risks of self-harm shown by a person with BPD while in hospital?

Pain Relief

Almost seven weeks post Weber A fibula fracture.

Has anyone had success with any of the following for, I guess, nerve pain? Gabapentin, Lyrica, Cymbalta, Amitriptyline, Topamax…plus any in these categories I haven’t mentioned?

(I’d give anything for Dilaudid!)

Webar A fibula fracture six weeks - no callus formation

[First picture was after one week. Second picture was after six weeks).
I’m 49 years old and have just been told it will take one and a half years for my ankle to heal. Thankfully I wasn’t told I couldn’t drive but was instead told I could drive when I could walk comfortably.
Going to do physio and ask my nurse practitioner for a bone density scan.

Is this ethical?

My psychiatrist told my nurse while I was in the psych ER (in crisis not admitted waiting for a psych consult although not on a hold) to make me as uncomfortable as possible should I self harm.
They weren’t aware I had overheard. Plus he wasn’t even on call in the ER that day!
I was so extremely discouraged and overwhelmed by emotion that I started crying and it took forever to make myself stop.
Is he ethically allowed to give instructions like that? 🥺

Psychological Restraints

I have BPD and I overheard my psychiatrist telling my nurse that should I self harm while there (I was in the psych ER and not on a hold, waiting for a psych consult from the on call psychiatrist to determine if I needed admission), she was to make me as uncomfortable as possible. After hearing this I couldn’t stop crying and should have left. I’d been already overhearing too much all day because the nurses’ station glass isn’t 100% soundproof. Is what he told her to do even legal?
