Was khulna always this crowded?

Lately I've been noticing that in the afternoon the footpaths near pioneer college become excessively crowded. There's always so many teens loitering around that place..Was it always like this? Or have I failed to notice it before?

How to make a srilankan feel welcome at our home?

Hello people. I'm a teen from Bangladesh. So.. I got a cousin who's visiting us on this weekend. He's also bringing a friend along with him , he's from Sri Lanka. I was hoping y'all could guide me on what to avoid to make his stay at our house comfortable. My cousin mentioned that he doesn't eat beef. My mom won't be preparing any dishes with beef in it. Are there any other dietary restrictions we should keep in mind ??

An odd predicament I've found myself in

A few days ago me and my family went to jessore to visit my grandma. We stayed there for a couple of days. Dad rented a car to drive us back to Khulna (now don't assume that we're stuck up a-holes who think public transport is ass. Usually whenever we return back from jessore to khulna my grandma makes sure to pack us fruits and vegetables and stuff like that.We end up carrying a lot of luggage with us so... it's easier for us to return home in a car lol. I don't know why I'm saying all this stuff it's not like I have to explain myself to you guys lol.)

So- anyways we were enjoying our car ride and .I watched the tress passing by and that's when it hit me-

I couldn't identify the TREES (unless there were fruits or flowers hanging from it ) Every tree looked the same - I couldn't tell which is which

And honestly? IT'S KINDA EMBARRASSING TO REALIZE THAT I'M NOT CAPABLE OF KNOWING WHICH TREE IS WHICH- like 18 years of existence and I Still don't know how to identify trees?

This post feels so stupid and unnecessary lol

Apologizing in advance for the time you've lost reading this post lmao

Why can't asian parents comprehend that what THEIR parents did to them was wrong? Why do they keep putting them on a effing pedestal?

My mom was talking with my friends mom the other day. I happened to overhear some of the things my mom said to her.

She was rambling about how kids these days are sooo sensitive and how our mood changes over the 'smallest things' .

She also said something along the lines of "back in the day my mom would throw whatever was within her reach if I ever acted like that..."

She sometimes casually mentions how she got beaten with brooms, rolling pins , slippers (pretty much every household item u can think of) and she says those things in a.. boastful manner like??? I'm sorry that happened to you? Why do you keep acting like you deserved that harsh treatment?
