I have mid size leather backpack and the zipper teeth are coming away from the zipper tape creating a small hole. I only have a domestic machine and I would like to fix it, but I haven't worked with leather before. Im debating on giving it a try but I wasnt sure the amount of work involved or if it would just be better to take to a repair shop. All tips, tricks and references are welcome!

I recieved a ticket this evening on the street in front of my building that has a raised curb you can park on. It says I was parked longer than 3 hours. The sign only says "Permit Parking 12am - 6am". I recieved the ticket at 8pm. Although I do not have a permit, why would I need one for during the day? Theres no other signage or green P on my street. Ive had a car and been able to park during the day no issue for the past 10 years. Anyone know if I fight this if itll just be dropped? Is there a secret "no parking beyond 3 hours" rule Im unaware of?
