went for a bristle got a gibby

mistakes were made but the love outweighs my rational decision making- so this guy is staying for life <3 (yes- I know their tank requirements)

spot the imposter

I didn't even see him until he moved >.< my albino corys are having so much fun moving this banana plant all over the tank- the pleco helps too

where to start

Hi friends! I finally caved and took advantage of the 50% off tanks at Petco. The overall goal for this tank is: planted and low tech. I plan to use sponge filtration, may upgrade in the future if need be, but I want low-medium stock. I already have a pleco for my bottom dweller, so I need some good mid and top fishies. I'm leaning towards some form of tetra for schooling, looking at maybe some Corys for the bottom as well because my pleco is super chill and likes everyone.

Substrate will be sand! Not sure if I'm going light or dark yet. There will be driftwood of course too.
