Surgery in am. Angry can't pick up meds a day early so I have them when I get out. Pharmacist actually TOLD my doctors office that called them to release my meds a day early that they WOULD NOT. WTH?

UPDATE: I GOT IT 2 minutes before closing. What a fiasco. Major surgery in the morning.

Grrrrrrrrr. Now I get to sit in the pharmacy on my way home from the hospital when i get out for my script to be filled IF THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK (and if they feel like filling it)

I absolutely hate this. Same pharmacy. Same prescription 15 years. New asshat pharmacist.

Hi. I have lupus and dermatomyositis and get a lot of rashes. This time it's purpura (doesnt itch) and small pink extremely itchy burning dots at the same time.

They start as small pink dots. They bleed under the skin when I scratch then they bleed all over. Dotted rash is on ankles, wrists and butt. Is it small vessel vasculitis? Is it normal for lupus? Should I be on steroids for it?

Hi. I have systemic lupus and dermatomyositis but this rash is different. It's in both sun and non sun exposed areas-(ankles, butt, wrist, chest), the pink dots are incredibly itchy, the purpura is not. What do the results mean so far? I believe they're not done. Thanks! :)

Skin punvh biopsy with dif: "There are no significant inflammatory infiltrates. Rare basal necrotic keratinocyte is noted. The overall features

are of unremarkable skin. Additional deeper levels and a PAS stain are ordered. If there are additional findings, it will be reported in an addendum. Close correlation with clinical findings are recommended."

Starts with small tiny pink itchy dots. Bleeds easily and bleeds under skin. What is it!

Incredibly ITCHY purpura and possible microscopic polyangiitis?

Hi I have systemic lupus and dermatomyositis but this is different, its not on sun exposed areas (its on wrists, ankles, hips, butt). Just had skin punch biopsy with dif. What should I expect? Thanks!

How bad is it? "Partial effacement of ventral and dorsal CSF spaces. Mild narrowing of the central canal."

L4-L5 there is disc uncovering with pseudobulge. There is moderate facet

arthropathy. There are bilateral facet joint effusions. There is hypertrophy of ligamentum flavum. There is mild narrowing of the central canal and subarticular recesses. There is mild foraminal narrowing bilaterally. Findings appear relatively stable

L5-S1 there is minimal bulging disc. There is moderate facet arthropathy.

Central canal is patent.

Nerve inflammation from possible microscopic polyangiitis

Sharp fireworks in feet and ankles. Rash is on ankles, chest, butt, hips, purpura on arms. Extremely ITCHY. Bleeds under skin-purpura. Just had rash biopsied Friday. Systemic lupus and crest diagnosed 2008. Last year diagnosed with dermatomyositis and anti Jo I antisynthetase syndrome.

Question is if it's microscopic polyangiitis how do I know if it's affected nerves?

I do have multiple neuropathies.

leukocytoclastic vasculitis

The ITCHING coming from those little dots is OUTRAGEOUS! Anyone else deal with this? 🤨

Years of severe pfd. Did almost 2 years of pfpt some with biofeedback. Had delorme surgery last august for partial mucus prolapse and have upcoming laparoscopic robotic rectopexy for rectoanal intussusseption (I believe using some weird mesh because I have a connective tissue disease and have proximal myopathy) (lupus and dermatomyositis). I was able to reverse hypertonic pelvic floor and no dyssergenic defecation per defecogram. Anorectal mannometry ok. This upcoming surgery is no cutting because age 64f, recovery difficult, and colorectal surgeon says if she had to cut and reconnect colon I could end up with leaks. I appreciated the honesty.

I've think about getting a bag and I don't want worse problems later so if the rectopexy would get me 15% better I'd be happy and if it doesn't make getting a bag later more complicated I'm good with it. ???

Tia. :)
