Went to the club for the first time and it was terrible.

Now why is this?

Well for one, I went alone, no friends. I tried rawdogging it but to no success. There was this big group in behind me who were having the time of their lives and laughing and screaming and shit and it just pissed me off.

I waited for like an hour in line. Thankfully the bouncers let me in (somehow). I wasted like eighty bucks on drinks and I couldn’t even get drunk. I ended up sitting at some table scrolling tiktok and twitter.

When I went to get my last drink, I tried talking to this one girl; we had a semi decent conversation then I offered to buy her a drink. She got some shit that was thirty bucks and once she got it she went away to go talk to her friends and I never saw her for the rest of the night.

TL;DR- Had no fun at the club, wasted my time, felt lonely, and got scammed out of a drink.

Went to see a movie and I was the only single dude there. Group of teenage boys pointed and laughed at me. Toast.

It wasn’t even a good movie. It was the fucking Mandalorian and Grogu.

How's living in the European part of Turkey, apart from Istanbul?

How rich/poor in this region compared to Anatolia? Are they more liberal or conservative?

How’s living in this part of northern West Virginia?

I know Wheeling, WV is here, but is this just like any other part of the Ohio Valley or is there something that makes this place special?

Let’s say that in 1946, for whatever reason, the region was either A: given to the Lithuanian SSR, or B: became it’s own Republic within the USSR. How would this affect its history, especially after the fall of the Soviet Union?

This would have been highly improbable with Kurt Eisner’s assassination, Johannes Hoffman’s Social Democrats and Freikorps militias having a ground advantage when the they clashed with the BSR’s forces, and a lack of popular support from the Bavarian people after a food shortage, but let’s say that somehow, it survives this initial turmoil and becomes an independent socialist republic separate from Weimar Germany. What would follow?
