It's been 3+ years in CG and there isn't any progress with respect to income or learning. I had sent multiple mails to N+1 and even tagged my project manager. Despite getting many appreciation mails from clients. I am feeling that the employee efforts are not valued here. The seven core values are just for name sake.
Hi quick background. I am working in a MNC service based. I started my career late because I was involved in business. I did my java course and joined a startup and with a lot of effort I got here after 4 years. Now it's been 3+ years here(MNC) and have been working on projects also, my work has been more into monitoring, production support rather than coding.

Now in total I have 7 years of experience but not much coding. I am good at operations and recently I am preparing myself to get into SRE or Devops as that's been my role these 3 years in the project.

I had sent mail to the manager level showing my concern and frustration not being promoted or not getting hiked even though I had good performance feedback from clients. Now my manager has connected and suggested that I move to another project saying the exposure would be more there as my current project is not in alignment to hierarchy.
My current role is giving me time to explore and learn and manage.

What should I do?? I don't think they will promote me in this cycle!! And I am confused and also afraid to say that I don't want to continue into coding rather go into operations.
