How long is too long to work on the same blanket.

At this point, I can’t even remember when I started this blanket. I don’t work on it every day though.

I’m a beginner and completely self-taught, so maybe I was a little too ambitious choosing the waffle stitch for a KING-SIZE blanket. I don’t want to say I regret it… but whew, this has been a PROJECT. 😂

The amount of yarn I’ve gone through using this stitch is actually ridiculous. Every time I think I’m making a ton of progress I look at the overall blanket, I realize I still have approximately 7 more years of crocheting left.

BUT… I absolutely LOVE how it looks so far, I know I’ll be ridiculously happy once I finally finish it.

Beginner crocheters, please tell me I’m not the only one who accidentally turned a “fun little project” into a lifelong commitment. 😂

Hello! 👋🏾

I’m bored lol, so I figured why not come on here and meet some new people and have some genuinely fun conversations?

I’m 28F, Black, single, no kids, and living in the Midwest. I work full-time and I’m actually going back to nursing school next month, so I’m about to voluntarily make my life significantly more stressful 😂.

I’d love to meet some people who are down to talk about literally anything—from random everyday nonsense to deeper conversations.

A little about me: I crochet or put together puzzles, usually while watching true crime, documentaries, or reality TV.

I love playing Sims Freeplay. I’ve been playing so so many years now.

I’m trying to get more into movies. I watched Back to the Future for the first time last Friday and I’m realizing there are apparently a LOT of movies I missed growing up. So please give me your must-watch recommendations!

I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and I’m not easily offended.

I’m honestly just looking for good conversation and people I click with. Who is around my age or older. Tell me about yourself, send me a random thought, recommend me a movie/show, tell me your controversial food opinion, or tell me something completely useless that you know.
