Erster Tamiya RC Build (Skyline TT-02D) – Erfahrungen🙂

Hallo zusammen,

- Was braucht man sonst noch zusätzlich unbedingt außerhalb vom Kit?

- Gibt es Dinge, die ihr rückblickend gerne früher gewusst hättet?

Ich freue mich über alle Tipps und Erfahrungsberichte 🙂

Danke euch!

First Tamiya RC Build (Skyline TT-02D) – Beginner Questions & Advice Needed 🙂

Hey everyone,

I’m thinking about getting my first Tamiya RC car — probably a Skyline TT-02D drift build 😄

I’m completely new to the RC hobby, but I’ve always been really interested in cars, tuning and working on things myself.

So I wanted to ask for some experiences and advice about this model:

Is the TT-02D good for beginners?

I read that the radio controller, servo, battery and charger are often sold separately. Is that true?

Is the manual/instructions easy to understand for a beginner?

What else is required outside of the kit?

Anything you wish you knew before getting your first Tamiya build?

I’d really appreciate any tips or experiences 🙂

Thanks!

I came across the FR165 and would appreciate your feedback. I have small wrists and it shouldn't be bulky and should also be suitable for everyday wear. I mainly need it for hiking; I should be able to load maps from Komoot onto it and view my route, record routes, analyze health data, etc. Since the watch doesn't have a precise altimeter, my question is also how accurate the altitude calculation is, as well as the route recording and navigation during my hikes. Thanks.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a Garmin watch for women and would love to hear your experiences and recommendations.

Budget: max. €250–300

These are the features I’m looking for:

- not too bulky (I have a small wrist)

- step counter

- ability to load routes from apps like Komoot onto the watch

- ideally altitude tracking or altitude calculation

- ideally a compass

- health tracking like heart rate, sleep, stress level, Body Battery, etc.

I mostly go hiking or walking, no climbing tours or extreme mountain activities.

What would you recommend and what are your experiences?

So far I’ve looked at:

Garmin Vivoactive 5

Garmin Forerunner 165

Garmin Instinct 2S

Garmin Venu Sq 2

Feel free to recommend other models too.

Thanks 😊
