LET’S FREAKING GO!
After 5 years I’m finally free. Never again.

After 5 years I’m finally free. Never again.
Don’t know if there’s a better sub to post this on.
I’ve ran across some property managers that accept vouchers(Progress Residential for example) but don’t want to leave private landlords off the table.

So I’m finally getting around to fixing my credit and becoming debt free. I have a Chime credit builder(basically a debit that shows as a “charge card”).
I’ve heard that these builders don’t really do much to help build/rebuild credit. And that having one on your report can actually be a negative.
I’m planning on transitioning from Chime altogether pretty soon, and am wondering if I should just leave the builder open or close it.
Edit: Thanks for the insight everyone. Once my direct deposits are all moved to another bank I’ll just close it.
It’s probably hurting my average age of accounts anyway as it’s not even 2 years old.
Steps for this offer:
Open a Chime checking account using my link.
Receive $200 or more from a direct deposit within 45 days of account opening.
Activate your physical debit within 14 days of receiving your deposit.
Once those steps are complete I will send $50 to you via Chime, Cash App, Venmo, etc. Whichever you prefer.
Comment $bid if interested.
Once your direct deposit(has to be $200 or more) hits Chime will give you a $100 bonus, and I'll send $20. As long as your debit card is activated within 14 days of the deposit landing you should get the bonus instantly.
If you're interested sign up using my link and then comment here with your Chime username, that way once the bonus lands I can promptly send you the extra $20.
Don’t know if this is the right place to ask or not. I’m getting rid of some old RAM I have lying around and want to get an idea of much they’re worth.
The sticks are:
1x XPG Gaming D10 4GB DDR4-3000
2x Teamgroup Vulcan 8GB DDR4-3000
1x Teamgroup Elite+ 4GB DDR3-1600
Only waited 5 days, I was afraid I’d have to wait a couple week or more.
This bug is odd has it appeared out of the blue. I can still search my saved posts but terms that used to show results now don’t turn up anything.
For instance specific subreddits or words from a comment come up blank even though said subs or comments are actually saved.
Edit: It was a database issue, how or why mine got messed up I couldn’t tell you.
But I had an earlier backup of my “saved_items” file and replacing the current one with that fixed it.
I have an M1 iPad Pro, and have stayed on 18.3.1 since from what I've read emulator performance was worse on 26. Especially resource intensive ones like MeloNX.
Is that still the case? If so is 27 any better or is it too early to tell?
I know people say multifocal contacts aren’t as clear as progressives, but what about monovision? I have it naturally so I know adapting is a nonissue.
Frankly I can’t stand my progressive glasses, I’m used to them but the edge distortion is insane.
Had both of my eyes done last year, and after getting my first pair of glasses I noticed a slight yellow tint. Figured it was just a blue light filter or a side effect of transitions(never had them before surgery).
Fast forward a few months I got another pair after my rx changed, didn’t opt for transitions as I hated the tint, but these also had it. My script changed slightly so I had them remade(for free thank god) but told them no coatings at all(AR, blue ight, etc). Nope, the tint is still there.
So now I’m thinking it’s somehow an artifact of the surgery, maybe the cataracts just masked it beforehand.
Even my old pairs all have a yellow tint now. The only ones that don’t are the pair of readers I wore during my healing period.
It makes the world look duller, colors are much more vibrant when I take them off. I’ll probably try contacts just to be rid of it(and progressives).
One thing I’ve noticed is that sunlight is a big factor, at night the tint isn’t nearly as strong.
Long story short, I paid for a monthly subscription and the app won’t let me access any other of its features. I’ve emailed the developer but haven’t heard back.
I submitted a request for Apple to refund me but they said it’s not eligible.
I’m curious, for anyone who can switch which eye you’re focusing through, how did that change after prisms and/or VT?
My assumption is that that “ability” would be lost since both eyes are actually working together now.
I haven’t had my NVM exam yet, got another week to go for that. So I don’t know the specifics of my BVD besides my hypertropia, but I’d be shocked if the doctor said I didn’t have it.
