The Stones have recorded many blues classics and some pop and R&B covers. What’s the all-time best Stones track not written by Jagger/Richards?
reddit.comVoodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon and Bigger Bang are all an hour+ long. Would they have been better as 40-45-minute albums? If so, what do you trim from each?

The new album cover is classy and simple. What are the best and worst McCartney album covers ever?
reddit.comWhile the new album is certainly up there, what’s the ugliest/worst Stones album cover ever?
reddit.comIt’s kind of obvious that the Stones will not tour again. You don’t release an album in July and say you might tour next year. Arthritis and aging don’t improve or reverse. There could be a special show or appearance, but don’t count on that either.

I think it’s “We Two”
TBODL: Another late-stage McCartney gem.
Boys of Dungeon Lane is another stunning late-stage McCartney gem. The lyrics are simple but wise, reflective and nostalgic. The melodies are somewhat subdued, but aged like fine whiskey (as is the voice), and then rendered by the master on almost every instrument, giving the seemingly simple songs character and emotion. Andrew Watt allows the quirky side of musician Macca a chance to shine and manages (for him) beautifully understated production to make these sweet tunes sound just right. I was worried that a Watt-produced album would have too much big sound, but he’s added just the right touches here. The final two songs, both about the struggles that parents face and the only ones with strings, end the album on a deeply emotional way. Bravo, Paul!
Easter Lily is monumentally better than Days of Ash. Is this now obvious to all?
