Cannot find collection company from previous apartment
About a year ago, my husband and I were evicted from our apartment. We had to move quickly to find a new place. Right now, we are in a somewhat stable place moreso, but we would like to attempt at finding a new apartment at some point soon. I've been looking to find what collections company the old complex uses to pay off our final balance, because I do not have the phone number for the collection company to even set up a payment plan. In addition, I have been in touch with the old apartment to find this information multiple times, and no one has responded. The complex also has a new name, and they also have new employees there. I don't have any information on my credit report for the information either, and I also looked at the court case, and there is no information there either. I'm wondering what I should do in this circumstance, and what would be the best mode of action to take. I do believe we could get into another apartment given the right credit score and such. Any advice helps!

Family Lawyer Advice
My parents (grandparents) and I have a custody agreement of my daughter. They have primary custody, and I have secondary custody. This has been in effect for around 5 years. Hopefully soon, I want to pay a lawyer to work to regain custody of my daughter, and my question is how probable are my chances of regaining custody? How much money should I save up to pay said lawyer, and what necessities other then a room, school, food, etc would be considered a suitable living situation?
