Merina removal causing extreme thrush!!

I'm so embarrassed. The thursh I'm experiencing is clumpy and thick. It's not sore or itchy but it's not going away with oral tablets or canestan. I'm at a loss!! Anyone else experienced the same? If so how did you resolve it? Thank you.

Why are some days more dry than others?

Some days can be AWFUL for dry eyes and mouth, other days I barely think about it, why is this? Are there triggers?

If I wake up with dry mouth every day will it effect my teeth? Saliva in the day feels bareable

I've never had issues with my teeth but wake up with the most dry mouth every time I sleep now. No matter how much I drink in the night as well. It's bearable I just worry about my teeth health. Will they be okay? Thank you

Do the red cheeks ever go away?

They're a lot worse when I wake up but will they settle down?

Hydroxychloroquine tastes disgusting!

I dread taking them each day because the taste lingers so badly! Do any of you have any tips to mask the taste?

Awoke with short breath and jitters

I have woken up with shortness of breath and jitters. Is it normal to experience this? I feel like I've had a silent heart attack but I don't know if I'm being dramatic. It's the second time I've experienced this is it worth mentioning to the GP?

Hoping this well help someone somewhere - Please also check bloods for auto immune diseases

I had chronic fatigue, I couldn't even stand being at my office desk for more than a couple of hours. So I had extra bloods which showed high autoimmune. Along with an underactive thyroid I've also been diagjosed with Sjögren's disease which can easily be dismissed as an alraady diagnosed under active thyroid. Please get your RA and IGA bloods checked 🙏

Hi all, I have a few questions:

Did you find digestion issues improving after starting hydroxychloroquine?

Have you found weight management easier with it?

Did you hair loss slow down eventually?

Did any of you experience weight loss after starting Hydroxychloroquine?

I was only diagnosed with Sjögren's on Wednesdsy, I also have an underactive thyroid and struggled to lose weight. I'm wondering if Hydroxychloroquine will help as it reduces inflammation? What are your experiences? Thank you

Do any of you have positive stories where you don't struggle with symptoms too much?

I'm feeling very depressed with diagnosis and would be very grateful for some positive stories.

Thank you

I posted here a month ago convinced i had Sjogrens.. I was diagnosed this morning :(

I just knew it.. I'm hoping that after starting Hydroxychloroquine I may see some weight changes. As much as i know it reduces inflammation and stops the syndrome progressing, i'm hoping it in turn helps my thyroid and weight again. I know this is hopeful and maybe a bit ridiculous but i'm very much mentally struggling with my weight issues (Overweight even after working out 3-4 times a week)

I wish I hadn't ever gone on the merina coil

My boobs have shrunk and my hair has fallen out!!

Not only that, I had loads of old dark blood stuck up inside me from where I've spotted for a week..

I don't know why health car professionals still tell people that the hormonal coil doesn't effect the rest of the body. I'd bet my life on saying it DOES!!

Do any of you get a very fast heart rate when you eat greasy/high carb food?

I'm waiting to see the rheumatologist after having an RA on blood tests of 32.. I have the red face, tingly hands and feet, and one thing i REALLY notice especially over the past year is that my heart races SO FAST when I eat a take away or high carb meal. Do any of you who are diagnosed experience the same thing? Thank you

Did coming off female contraception altogether help you at all?

I get the feeling that synthetic hormones are really messing with my hormones. The only time I didn't feel jiggly and actually lost about 6lbs was when I was completely hormone free. Any thoughts?

I've handed in my notice and my manager won't let me do a handover to the new GM

I posted last week about my manager not fully accepting my notice.. Anyway, my replacement starts MONDAY.. And the MD won't tell me anything about her, if she needs a laptop setting up, what her hours of work will be, if she's replacing me from the second she gets here, who the staff will now report to... I'm still there'd for my 6 week notice period and when i asked all of these questions he said 'I'll ask her and give you feedback' So now i have to come in Monday with not a clue of what is going on.. Oh well not really my problem :)

How do I get through my notice period? It's SO tedious and I have to work 8 more weeks

My notice period is longer than the average because I'm a general manager. I was already checked out before I'd handed in my notice in and I've been just getting through the best I can for the past maybe 4 months. Anyway it's so TEDIOUS and I'm always clock watching.

Do any of you have any tips to make it easier?

My replacement is starting on Monday and I have no idea how to even show an interest.

Thank you

I had sex without ejaculation 4 days ago before IUD removal. Will I be okay to still remove?

I'm worried as I had sex for like 20 seconds without ejaculation. We were just being naughty knowing we weren't supposed to. Now I'm nervous about removal. Would the 5 day morning after pill be enough?

I handed my notice in a week ago, my manager said he needed a week to let me know his thoughts?

I'm a General Manager and I find this ridiculous. I sat in front of him and said we need a plan for my departure. He completely dismissed it and said he needed a week to gather his thoughts rather than being irrational.

How unprofessional and what's the worst he was going to do in anger? Sack me which is illegal anyway?

Anyway, it's a week ago today and we have a meeting this morning that I arranged to discuss it further. Honestly never known anything like it.

UPDATE My manager said he'd sat on it for a while and decided he was still upset and disappointed but he had my replacement ready and she's starting on Monday AND as a COO which is higher paid than my position. I'm SO glad I handed in my notice. The next 7 weeks teaching her everything I know is going to be very tedious but jokes on them now 👋 👋 👋

Did any of you experience your boobs 'Slope' or becoming 'Flat' on the merina IUD ? Did they go back to normal?

I'm finding the top of my boobs are no longer round and full at the top. I think this my be down to the merina IUD and I'm hoping they'll go back to normal - Thanks
