good music ?

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a nice spot around Dubai Marina, JBR, or JLT with good music, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe somewhere I can enjoy the evening without it being too crowded or too loud.

If you have any recommendations, I’d really appreciate them! And if anyone’s up for joining for a drink and some good conversation. Always happy to meet new people.

LOOP?

Hello everyone,
I’m stuck in a loop where I feel like I need friends to go out and explore places with, but people also go to those places to meet new people. I don’t really have friends right now, so I don’t enjoy going to parties or clubs alone, yet I feel like that’s how people socialize and make friends.

I’d also love to make some Indian friends, as I think having a similar cultural background could help me connect more easily.

How do I get out of this dilemma?

Hello fellow founders! I’ve put together a mockup . If the idea resonates with you, I’d be excited to have you join the project in any capacity.

I believe the concept is strong (around an 8/10), but I’ll need a lot of support to bring it to life. Any feedback, suggestions, or interest in collaborating would mean a lot.

AED 25 k/year 🥲

overheard some guys at the pool talking about something called "wahid" and now i can't sleep 😭
wasn't even eavesdropping they were just loud

all i caught was one of them saying "yeah the membership is 25k a year" and the other one just nodded like that was a completely normal sentence 🤨

i don't know what it is. i don't know what you get.

just got home and looked it up and i genuinely have no words

JLT or JBR ?

I’m currently living in Dubai Marina, near Barasti Beach. My workplace is very close by, but since I mostly work from home, I’m planning to move to JLT or possibly JBR.

I’ve found that JLT feels more peaceful, and there are plenty of things to do. For example, I could join MMA classes and still find opportunities to interact with normal, everyday people, which is definitely not the case here in Marina.

Do you think this is a good idea, or am I overlooking something?

Sorry .

I can’t believe I posted this a few days ago. Now that I’m going to my home country for two weeks, I’ve already started missing Dubai.

The mornings here, with the sea in front of me, make me realize how much this city has changed my life in just one year especially financially. It also made me mentally and emotionally stronger and helped me grow.

I’ve realized the problem was never Dubai, it was my mindset. And I’m coming back knowing exactly what I need to fix.

Sorry Dubai, and thank you. And thanks to everyone for the suggestions and support.

helppp

Hello guys, what are some good perfumes for both men and women that I can buy on Noon? I’m traveling back to my country and my friends asked me to get some for them. I’m allergic and don’t really use perfumes, so I have no idea what to buy. Also, my flight is tonight, so I’m looking for the fastest way to get them.

hinge?

I think dating apps in Dubai are disappointing, regardless of gender. Also, it genuinely feels like almost no one is single. How do people even manage to socialise and date here?

I live in one of the most happening localities, yet I still haven’t found any like minded people. Being ambitious is great, but are there normal people in Marina those who work a regular 9 to 5 and aren’t trying to live an overly artificial or flashy lifestyle? If so, how does one connect with them?

Also, Before my inbox gets flooded with M/F I’d like to clarify that I’m a guy.
