First time playing, is this a good build?

I’m about to try to find oil but was maxed on power, so I decided to make a proper coal power plant with 18 generators off of 3 normal coal veins with tier 2 miners so I don’t have to worry about it for a while until I get another power upgrade.

There is not one “true” ending to V’s story, there’s 3.

I’ve seen a lot of discussion about what is the “canon” ending for V, or how would their story end in a movie like scenario. I think because of how much of an impact V’s life path has over their choices, that different life paths would have different personalities, therefore getting different endings.

Nomad = The Star
This V, I think male V works best here, grew up wanting more, to build a life in Night City and be more than a wasteland bum. After thinking he made it big with Dex Deshawn then losing his best friend in the arasaka heist, his world view is shattered. He then spends the story reconnecting with his roots and accepting who he is, building love with Panam, making family with the Aldecados, and then eventually returning to his roots traveling the road with them after burning down what he used to look up at.

Streetkid = The Sun
All this V wanted was to be a living legend, to go down in the books of history. He grew up hearing of the legends of night city, and when opportunity to be one came knocking from the well known Dex Deshawn, he was damn well gonna take it. But after learning how non black-white the world is and strengthening his bond with Johnny, they learn to come to terms and take down Arasaka with rogue. V becomes the living legend he wanted to be, and Johnny gets his closure with the final collapse of Arasaka + Closure with rogue + revenge on smasher.
You and Johnny really were alike

Corpo = King of Swords (Phantom Liberty)
Corpo V never wanted to be thrust into this life. She (I think fem V works best for corpo) feels like a victim in this all and just wants to go back to her old life. I feel this V would be more accepting of the Corpo or try to be “understanding” while Johnny tells her what for in her ear the whole time. Through the story she realizes the corruption of Arasaka, falls in love with Judy, and builds a new life for herself. Through Phantom liberty, she finds a way to heal herself through official channels that are not Arasaka. However, she still chooses to try and trust those systems and work with songbird until songbird betrays her, ultimately handing her off to Reed to get cured. In this timeline V makes peace with Johnny before his removal, but loses everything to her hubris. She got her goal, what she wanted, but at the cost of everything. Judy left her, the Aldecados won’t talk to her, Vic is a corpo now, and all her chrome had to be disabled. While she can technically go back to her old life, only now she realizes she can’t because that person doesn’t exist anymore.

I think the Corpo one is most on brand for Cyberpunk IMO, but that’s just me. What you all think about this?

The ritual is a moral battle between gods: a lore theory

So one of the questions I’ve been asking myself as I’ve been playing deadlock more and more is what do the Patrons actually want from the ritual. We know the motives and interests of every character, but what are the motives of the Patrons? What do they get out of this?

I believe that the patrons represent a battle between truth and ideals, selflessness vs selfishness, caring about others (be that negative or positive) vs caring about yourself.

I believe the archmother stands for truth and the hidden king for ideals, both showing this in the way they interact with each character. Take abrams for example:

The archmother says to him: “The detective fights for all of us” and “Abrams, your strength will be a boon to your allies, and a bane to your rivals”

Meanwhile the hidden king says “Abrams. The only thing stronger than your fists is your will” and “Trust doesn't come easy for you, Abrams... but know this: when you complete the ritual, the Hidden King will honor his debt.”

I believe the archmother wants to bring a future of unity and order; while the hidden king wants to bring forward a future of chaos pride and personal freedom. Neither of them can work individually, in kind of like a yin-yang type relationship. This is also why I think any hero can be on any team, and there’s no “good guy bad guy” when it comes to the patrons. It would make sense that the patrons don’t really care who’s fighting as long as it sees their goals fulfilled, and they’ll do their best to sway the characters of deadlock towards their side.

Opinions on this dock-town in progress?

Here’s a new dock-city type build I’m doing on a friends SMP, im liking the direction but because I just started by building no-rules and am now a bit more invested in the project, I worry it may be a bit too busy. Thoughts? Also it will extend into a full block, right now im connecting all the facades and will worry about roofing and infrastructure later lol.
