Almost 6yrs (DIY) & I'm not sure bad this is.

I've had hand-in-hair syndrome for long, it's a good way to feel your locs, how each is doing imo. Plus it's soothing for me.

Lately, from last year or so, I've been picking out the ends mostly subconsciously. Any inconsistency makes me pull some off or cut them out. I therefore decided to just trim the ends like an inch or two to lessen the behaviour....but I'm back to it😭.

Anyone facing this?

When I cook them at home they come out slightly burnt on the sides, sometimes wrinkled while the airfryer makes them crack up and so dry.
