L3 Emission Point?
Hi everyone,
Since I’ve been posting recently, I am in need of some knowledge.
I’ve been running my dual-tube (DTNVG) setup for a while now without any issues, but something odd happened recently.
While I was using them, my left tube suddenly wouldn’t power on. I cycled the power about 2–3 times, and eventually it started working normally again.
Shortly after that, a small bright spot appeared in the left tube that wasn’t there before. The spot is stationary, doesn’t flicker, and remains visible whenever the tube is powered on. It seemed to appear out of nowhere during use.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what might be causing this? I’m considering opening an RMA with Steele Industries, especially since the tube also had the intermittent power-on issue beforehand.
