Not a very flashy unit, but a fun one to paint. I am planning on playing night lords, iron warriors and word bearers, all in separate armies but want to use units I can swap around and maybe play a mixed Warband too
But this is the first unit in my chaos army and I am pretty happy with them. Next up will be a word bearers sorcerer and then the first night lords units
This mini was a slog, as the cables around his body were pretty detailed and in pretty bad spots to paint. But in the end I am happy with the weapon, which was an experiment
The hazard stripes aswell came out pretty nice
Experimented with a lot of blues and filtering. I came to this and I have the fear it is slightly too dark.
The light in this picture is my painting light
But I wanted to achieve a dark rich blue, because most depictions are to light for me
