INJ4M Camel Trophy Defender Build (Almost Done)

All Injora parts except for the body, wheels (Speelik plastic), tires (Canyon Trails), and radio/receiver (Turbo Racing P32). 53 mm shocks. I need to get some Camel Trophy stickers and a few scale accessories. I should have went with a brushless system, was trying to save money (low speed transmission). I partially messed up painting and need to redo the front driver side by the headlight; I did not sand it well enough and the paint chipped off. The Injora planetary axles are wide! I guess I wasn't thinking it all through fully. 57mm tires seem to small, 63mm tires to big, I like the 60mm size but not lots of options in that size it seems.

Two other things, I have the Injora straight stainless-steel links, I used two 1mm spacers on the upper links, front and back to tilt the axle up for better drive shaft clearance. Use only one spacer on the front upper links, if you use two, the axle and servo get tilted so far forward, the servo hits the chassis is certain situations. Second, the tires barely hit the shocks at full turn. I could space the wheels out further, but it looks retarded with wheels that wide in my opinion.

Question, should I paint the wheels yellow like the real Camel Trophy Defender or leave them black?

SDRC Crawl Shop Unlimited Redcat Ascent 18

SDRC Crawl Shop Unlimited body, Injora transmission, purple motor, drive shafts, high clearance links, wheels (I think?), and tires. Treal outer brass portal covers on the front only, and brass steering link. Meus brass diff cover on the front. I painted it rough so it would hopefully look more weathered. I might re-paint it at some point. The high clearance links expose the drive shafts, but that has not been a problem so far. The stock shocks seem to perform well.

Injora TRX4M Camel Trophy Defender Build

Pretty much all Injora parts except for the body and the radio/receiver which is a Turbo racing. I will use an MB100 ESC with an Injora purple motor. Injora accidently forgot the front bumper in the order, when I get that I will assemble everything.

Which Brushless Motor?

Which of these should I use in a straight axle VRD?

Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion SE FOC 2-in-1 Crawler Brushless ESC & Motor [HWA30404317] - AMain Hobbies

Or the Secure 120 A brushless ESC with the Secure 3625 brushless motor?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DGSNMBWP/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A7A74MADTQWMI&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DHRCZ5VX/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A7A74MADTQWMI&psc=1

It seems nice to have a two in one ESC motor, but if the other set up is that much better, I would use that. The secure combination is only $10 more. Thanks!

Edit: After all the replies, I did some more research and apparently the Sequre ESC is not waterproof nor are outrunner motors. Apparently, outrunner motors can handle clean water, but not so great at running in mud. I guess they also make some waterproof outrunner motors, but I am sure those must be a lot more expensive.
