Viking Vs Romans

This is a development preview of my new upcoming game - Vikings Vs Romans. I am a senior Vfx artist working in Houdini and Godot.

The game is played with realtime physics, storms and bad weather. The water I can fully control and vary in any shape, and the ragdoll physics is working well now. Next week (week 8 of dev) I will hopefully get approval for the Steam page and you can expect a playable demo in October.

Please let me know what you guys think and what kind of weapons you would like to see in the game. I have sharks that will eat the swimmers and there will be special weapons like a giant squid.

My next big development hurdle is the destruction of the boat. We must be able to destroy the boats. 💥

Vikings Vs Romans - teaser.

I am a senior Vfx artist working in Houdini and Godot. This is 6 weeks into development and I’ve finally solved most of the physics for the ragdolls. I played worms, cannon fodder, north vs south, lemmings and all those fun games back in the day. This game is inspired by that time in my youth. What do you guys think ? Currently I have functional cannons but there are more weapons and monsters in the pipeline.

Steam page is about to get approved.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated thank you for watching.
