Come on my radio show

Hello,

I run 88.7 Records, 88.7 RFM and make music under the names Phosgene and 160m band.

I like to have musicians, mostly from Reddit, come on and talk / let me play their music. I usually focus on experimental / noise music however I'm trying to get more "guitar music" on the show.

I upload rips from the show to bandcamp, available at radiofreememphis.bandcamp.com.

If anyone is interested shoot me your bandcamp and let's do it.

Ciao!

Rips from my pirate radio program / record label. 40% everything right now.

I have a pirate radio station in which I play music / interview musician / play their music. I actually source most of my talent from Reddit (could you be next?)

I also have a small record label, I put out tapes and get them to record stores.

I figured this would be of interest to some of you, to hear some of what other Reddit musicians are up to. I've had some extremely interesting guests.

And, tapes, stickers, even the care package is all 40% off with the code "internmichael" at checkout.

If anyone is doing anything weird / interesting / heavy let me know. Maybe come on the show or put out a tape? Who knows!

[IRTR] Radio pirate, cassette label owner, SDBN musician who only uses radios to make music

Hello,

As said in the title, I am a radio pirate, cassette label owner and DSBN (depressed suicidal black noise) musician who only uses radios (ham, CB, shortwave) and different kinds of antennas (magnetic loop, wire etc.

I'm very natural on mic considering I do a lot of interviews for my show.

You can find my music (160m band) and rips of my show on my bandcamp as well as all releases from other artist.

radiofreememphis.bandcamp.com

I figured this might be interesting to someone, plus I want to have my turn in the hot seat. i'm always the one asking the questions!

Used a bunch of radios to make music. CB, ham, shortwave etc

I've gotta shit ton of radios. Antennas, too. Magnetic loops, 200ft wire antennas, stuff like that. I've released a few albums using them, never posted them.

everything was made using radios, even the speech was captured of CB. it's pretty fun to do.

hope someone likes it

Four way noise split for charity

Hey there,

We at 88.7 Records just released a four way split. It's all noise music by 160m band, Uranomania, Naweed Hoshmand and Constant Variant.

All the profits from this release, physical and digital, will be going to the Union Mission homeless shelter in Memphis, TN.

And if you see anything else you like, use the promo code "INTERNMICHAEL" to get a discount.

Ciao!

Charitable comp tape anyone?

Hello

I run 88.7 FM RFM and 88.7 Records.

during the winter I released two compilation tapes that were really fun. Ended up taking all the money after cost was covered and donating it to the local shelter.

I've got an idea for 2 more I want to get going, same thing. Once cost is covered just give the rest away.

I'm just looking for some cool musicians who would be interested in donating a song, a b-side, or even just something they hit record and made. It's all good.

No money needed from the artists, I take care of all that. Just the track.

And everyone gets a copy, of course. and lots of stickers. plus you get to come on the show if you want (the Bandcamp is radiofreememphis).

shoot me a DM if you are interested at all!

Hi,

I run a small radio station and like to interview musicians doing cool and interesting things. I've had around 30 guests on the show, mostly from this sub, and people seem to enjoy it. It's an "interview" (mostly just talking) followed by playing your music. Super casual.

If anyone is interested, I've got free time tonight and would love to do a couple. Shoot me a DM and we can set it up or I can explain more / answer questions.

Ciao!
