Nice to see Burnie is still on good terms with him 😅
I was at DragonCon and immediately thought this shirt from CraftyCelts was the perfect way for Burnie to support the Longhorns with a local twist

TRIGGER WARNING: Discussion of Firearms
There is actually an OFTEN DISCUSSED analogue to this: Gun Laws.
Background: Current Law Student, and I previously worked at an ammunition manufacturer and am a former member of the U.S. Military. And to keep it as simple, I'm just going to discuss this using not even the firearms themselves, but a single magazine (The thing that holds the bullets.)
Several states have bans on how many rounds of ammunition a magazine is legally allowed to hold, usually falling between 10 and 20. So let's imagine that you are driving from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire, where your 20 round magazines are completely legal, but on the way you have to pass through states that include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, ALL OF WHOM ban those magazines and some where mere POSSESSION OF THE EMPTY MAGAZINE is a Felony.
Knowing this, you clean out your car, BUT happen to not check that little sleeve behind the seat, where you have a spare unloaded magazine. Because the United States has several land borders without checkpoints, it is incredibly easy to either accidentally or intentionally suddenly commit a felony while transporting this device. If you get pulled over in any of those states and consent to have your vehicle searched, if that is discovered, you may suddenly have a felony.
I understand that I have very much simplified the conversation, but it is one of the incredibly frustrating things about having a patchwork of laws across states with minimal federal guidance. It's not dissimilar from the early days of prohibition before the 18th amendment.
Fun Fact if you stayed this long: I'M ALLERGIC TO WEED!!!
When watching Hadestown again last night I noticed that During the Road to Hell reprise, you see Eurydice take Hermes' hand and puts it to her forehead which is a HUGE sign of respect to your elders in Filipino Culture. I got insanely excited by this
Hey Incoming 1Ls!
Made a video about this, but I'll put a TLDR here. My top 3 pieces of advice are:
SLEEP! - Being fully rested is more beneficial than being exhausted during class because you studied all night.
EAT! - Lectures are surprisingly draining and you need to constantly fuel your brain.
READ YOUR SYLLABUS! - You'll be your teacher's favorite student if you never ask a question that was answered on the syllabus.
I say more, but if there is anything I think you should take away it's that.
Best of luck to all of you entering law school!

So this was an interesting one where he isn't IN it, BUT he is the Writer and Director. I think the Trailer is so much better than the movie itself, and if I had to describe what's wrong with the movie I'd say that it's 4 VERY GOOD short films put together into one incomprehensible mess.
That said, I did enjoy it, but I recognize that it is NOT a good film.
Kroger had a sale of 2.99 for 3 lb bags, so I got 3

I'm visiting that culinary Mecca of Rochester New York, home of the Garbage Plate, Andrew Babish, and our beloved Burnie Burns... And the Strong Museum of Play which also contains both a toy Hall of Fame and video game Hall of fame. As part of the display in the airport advertising the museum they have the special edition Xbox that was a point of contention a few episodes ago
