New best for red?

Used to have certain standbys for high Red level gains: But as we know, it keeps getting switched up.

That being said

which are your current favorite levels, for high-gain Red?

(bonus question: Is 50 still the best yield for Pink?)

Millionaire Challenge “Off Day” Question

Hello. Looks like we’re at the gap again before this month’s Millionaire Challenge starts.

Am wondering. Does anything earned on the “off day” get applied retroactively to the challenge after it starts? Or do orders only “count” when the challenge officially starts again for the month?

Thanks!

Voice Cast for Legends Game?

Hello. Been seeing a lot of impressive clips for the Avatar Legends game out in July.

It sounds just like the original voice cast! …… IS it the original voice cast? Is it just previous voice clips from the original animated show? Anything new recorded for the game? If so, by who for which parts?

Surprised that I wasn’t able to find this info elsewhere so far. If the answer turns out obvious, ok with that too. Just have become increasingly curious.

Appreciated!

Smallest Dumphone with touch screen?

My question is the same as the title! What is the smallest dumbphone available, that also has touch screen abilities? (and will cooperate with AT&T) Do need it to obviously still have quality voice phone call ability.

Some are just using refurbished then repurposed larger smartphones. I currently have my smartphone of an iphone 13 mini. Size like that works for me, but am on this site for a simplified dumbphone option as well. With touchscreen. Texting too annolying without one.

thanks!

Best AT&T Dumbphone - calls texting (music?)

Hello. I have a group plan with AT&T. Like all modern people I do have a smart phone that I also plan to keep - but need my “on me all the time phone“ to have minimal distractions.

These are my needs, listed in order of priority.

Non negotiable: 1) Excellent & Reliable voice call quality. Especially for the LA & NY metro areas.

Really Really Want: 2) Compatible with AT&T. 3) Digital touch screen texting & Voicemail access. QWERTY keypad perhaps also ok, but stronger preference for digital.

Would Also Want If Possible: 4) Stored Music access. 5) Ability to store QR codes, to check in to places that require them. 6) Decent enough Camera, that can connect to laptop or smarter phone for transfer.

Bonus: 7) Navigation accessibility - such as Google Maps. 8) Yelp app accessibility. 9) Email accessibility. 10) Not too bulky for easy portability. Smaller in size that can do as many of the especially higher priority items, the better.

For this most of my attention is on those first 3 listed here. All after that, I consider extras I’d be pleasantly surprised by but would understand if need to sacrifice.

I look forward to your responses. Needed this for years. Such options weren’t as available in the past - Hope that maybe they could be now. Appreciate this.

Came for the crossover: Justice 4 Ba’el

Newer fan here. Intro’ed into Trek with LD as my gateway, saw all of that then SFA as it came out. Been slowly making my way through Voyager, Prodigy, and DS9. The rest only sparingly. Heard there were 3 crossover moments with TNG and DS9. First was the DS9 premiere with Sisko & Picard. Then later on Quark helps/trolls Riker for abit. Decided to then watch the TNG two parter Birthright 1 & 2. Came for the Data & Bashir interactions. It was adorbs. You gotta love it when neurodivergent coded characters find each other then hang out. 😉

Then came the Worf parts of the episode.

I have questions.

  1. Ok so we can agree that lying to and then assimilating the youth without any ties to their cultural heritage, is bad. Yet the peace they had there where they actually got along with the Romulans was good! Why did Worf have to be a dick about that part too? Couldn’t anyone have better explained to him, that it eventually stopped being a prison, and more accurately a hidden safehouse for it’s residents? If you fix the “lies to deny the youth their culture & agency” parts, they had a legitimately pleasant community there. Wtf Worf?
  2. Also, Wtf Tokath? Stop lying to the kids. And I really reallllllllly hope that his relationship with his Klingon wife Gi’ral and conception of Ba’el was with as little fucked up power dynamic abuse as possible. But if he done this smarter? Maybe in his Romulan/Klingon utopia he was building, he could have included even afew social studies classes. Accurate social studies classes. A Klingon cultural ambassador eventually fell out of the sky. Was it the most try-hard Klingon ever? Sure. But you could have also gone about this better way sooner.
  3. …… IS it just a hidden safe haven? Do the kids think that the still armed & still uniformed Romulans there were to keep enemies out instead of them in? Because neither Klingon nor Romulan authorities seem to care what happens anymore to the residents there. Maybe the lie was easier and they never had reason to expect an intrusion such as Worf’s to ever occur. And fear of teaching them would only open up opportunities for eventual exposure. But, still. Which goes back to core question: What even was that place by then? Prison? Hidden community? A good place to start, is to decide then commit to it. Choose a lane Tokath. Not doing so, eventually just confused everyone involved.
  4. L’Kor has Toq the Teenager “guard” Worf. For starters, let’s acknowledge that Toq is pretty much the worst guard ever. Then again, this is more on L’Kor for assigning Toq that in the first place. If he really didn’t want shenanigans he would have had, tbh any, adult accompany their hunt. Worf is almost double Toq’s size, with Toq - deliberately - having zilch combat experience “guarding” a seasoned Klingon fighter. What was L’Kor even hoping for with that? Well, he did stand by Toq and Worf when the Romulans threatened Worf with execution. Which eventually opened up the community by force. Just saying that if there was that long game there, then L’Kor is amongst the most passive aggressive Klingons I’ve seen so far in the series. For a species known to more likely leave the “passive” part out. Well. Guess palling with Romulans as long as he had by then could do that.
  5. Klingons have great pride in their family history. It is literally how they introduce themselves. When the kids go out there into Klingon society ….. how will that work? Maybe Qo’noS doesn’t have earth style social security numbers, but how they keep track of family connections seems rather intricate. When these kids try to socialize on Qo’noS, will it just be like “I am Toq, Son of [REDACTED] House of [REDACTED]”? Also - they barely know a damn thing about Klingon social norms. Which Klingons take *quite* seriously. Without a guide or mentor to accompany them, are they all doomed to become social pariahs? Because Worf sure as hell isn’t sticking around for that. He is busy with Starfleet. He barely parents his own kid.
  6. Speaking of which …. how old is Alexander by this point? Because just about 4 years later when on DS9, Alexander seems about the same age as Ba’el….…
  7. Oh Ba’el. Honey. You were done wrong in about every way by everyone involved here.

a) Starting with her conception. Where the consent power dynamics between assigned jailer and prisoner seem …. questionable. The best possible version of this is that those old power dynamics had eroded almost completely by the time Ba’el was born. Which is what I’ll choose to believe.

Speaking of power dynamics and consent …….

b) Worf. Dude. Wtf. No. She is almost the same age as your own kid. I get it on her end - mysterious older bad boy falls out of the sky who the parents hate? That is catnip to teenage interests. On a galactic level apparently. So her having that crush: Makes perfect sense. She’s a teen. It happens. You know who isn’t a teen? Worf. Who has a son who might be almost her age? Also Worf. Who was the adult in that dynamic who had the responsibility to show any restraint? But instead acted like a racist asshole - and then a *predatory* racist asshole? Still Worf. Whose idea was it to give Michael Dorne a romantic storyline with someone about half his age? The writers. The same writing cultural climate who would also give us “Let’s have underage Jake Sisko date an adult Dabo Girl.” The only one who handled any of this close to correctly was Benjamin Sisko. Good job Benjamin. Worf, take notes. You eventually join the DS9 to be able to take those notes. Everyone else not Ben Sisko: What The Entire Fuck Were They Thinking?

c) Hold up. Do ALL the other kids leave *except* for Ba’el? Is her only company now the adults that lied to her, with no one else there close to her age to build her own life with? Why didn’t she go with them? Worf only found out she was biracial when he saw her ears. So if she just keeps her ears covered in public, why not go with them? Not like she would stand out too much more than her other culturally cut off Klingon youth there already.

Ba’el was done wrong by everyone fictional and not, throughout this entire episode. And then further into after the events of this episode as well it would seem.

  1. What was the deal with Shrek? No more Shrek? That dude who told Worf his father was alive just for the lolz and maybe some cash? Worf’s father wasn’t alive. They implied Shrek had a larger connection to that place to make it more interesting. I heard that the actor got injured in between and couldn’t film more scenes. But they could have given at least some dialogue about what they had originally planned for Shrek to fill in that narrative gap. Leaving that thread completely open? That was weird. And avoidable.

  2. What did that machine that Bashir was messing with even do? Did they ever figure that out?

  3. I wanted to know more about Data’s dreams! Did he later dream of Bashir as well? Or just more birds? Yet Bashir, Data, his dreams, and the mystery machine (not to be confused with The Mystery Machine), were all left out of part 2 of this narrative. Just a peaceful community built on lies that Worf barged into, and one biracial Klingon whose life he permanently altered perhaps not the better, along with abunch of young Klingon outcasts wandering around Qo’noS without support. Because Worf is too busy for that. Stay classy Worf.

Just my two cents there. 😅

There were some genuinely interesting ideas here! About the cost of peace at the price of cultural history. The concept of a biracial Klingon/Romulan is absolutely fascinating. There was so much more I wanted to learn about that. Also fantastic was the evolving of Data and his unique camaraderie built with Bashir. And I did love how the 2 ideas got tied during Data’s conversation with Worf. Just some holes in the storytelling of it which detracted from those bigger pictures.

90s writing be wild.

Best Dyson for Tile?

Hello. I have a small apartment with both carpeted and tile area. Had a DC44 Animal that partied since 2012, just died recently. Got directed to the V8 Absolute, which includes the fluffy head attachment for gen hardwood floors. Most likely, flat hardwood floors

Which dyson attachment head or unit, is best for specifically tile? Thanks!
