My husband, Conner, has been missing for 48 hours and we have officially filed a missing person report with Austin Police. I’m posting here because I’m trying every possible avenue in case someone has seen him recently.

The last time I physically saw him was on 5/14/26 at 7AM. His last text was at 9:56AM Since then, he has completely stopped responding to calls, texts, and emails, which is extremely unlike him. He also no-call/no-showed work, which is very out of character. His stuff is all here.

We have contacted friends, family, coworkers, and anyone we know he may communicate with, but no one has heard from him.

Places I’ve checked include:
• AMC movie theaters
• Public libraries
• Bus stops around Austin
• Bluefin Sushi
• Planet K on south congress
• All the gas stations on South Lamar
• His job
• Hospitals and jail

30 / white male/ 5’9 / 140-150 / hair color: blonde but his beard is ginger / he could possibly have a small traders tote with him / no visible tattoos the ones he has can be hidden with a tshirt / on foot no car.

If anyone has seen him recently or has any information at all, please message me directly or contact Austin Police referencing the missing person report.

Been wanting a 4pc flashhider for a while. Before and after pics. I like the aesthetic way more, and I look forward to taming the flame, maybe even mitigating a lil’ recoil while I’m at it.

Newish to Reddit…love the sub here. Never posted mine so figured I would. It’s a mid length gas 1/8 twist 16” PSA Freedom I got for like $399 or so on a holiday sale, Bushnell trs-26 red dot and 3x magnifier, streamlight protac on a chinesium mlok mount (hard to see in the pic but it’s there), Blackhawk 2 point sling, magpul BUIS rear, rattle canned with some steel mesh to match my local foliage. Yeah yeah I’ve read all the stuff, watched all the “YouTubers” and internet “professionals”…I know all about the good brands, I know my “barrel is gonna burn out after 10,000 rounds, bro, and don’t even get me started on the bolt and the gas rings” blah blah blah, yada yada yada. Is it “just as good” as (name your bourgeoise brand)? Probably not. Is it good enough? Yeah, probably. It shoots 1.5-2 moa with basic 55 grain fmj, I can hit consistently out to 300 (don’t have anywhere I can shoot farther), and I’ve shot a few hundred rounds with zero failures.

I shoot a mag’s worth once a quarter just to make sure I’m still worth a damn…a couple shots for checking zero, a few long shots, then some double taps/mag changes and stoppage drills at 25 yd.

No weirdness with the wear patterns on the critical components so far . Plus, I got another one for the Mrs. so I’ve got a backup/spare parts if “SHTF” or what the hell ever. I’m a father and sole provider for my family, LARPing is not in my budget, nor do I have the time for it. I’m not a competitive shooter, just a guy who needs a fighting carbine, just in case.

Hate on it all you want, idgaf. Just posting for the guys like me on here so they know they’re not alone.

I’m enjoying all y’all’s fancy shit though, much love, keep ‘em coming. It’s inspirational, for when I win the lottery lol.
