New home for an old army

New home for an old army

Recently I purchased a 2nd edition army off eBay, on the random chance that the previous owner is here on Reddit, I wanted to post that they arrived with relatively minimal damage, Techmarine came off his base and the Librarian's power pack came loose but they were easily re-glued.

When all's said and done, they survived the trip to Australia well, you did a fantastic job at painting them and it's apparent you put a lot of time and effort into them, thank you ♥️

They'll be part of my larger Lamenters force once I've got them all painted up, they'll be well loved and played with regularly.

Weird issue with my VY

I've got an 04 VY Crewman with the V6 ecotech engine that I've owned for nearly 10 years now, and I've noticed recently that when it's cold, the alternator/battery light will flicker and sometimes come on fully, but disappears once the engine is warm. Usually starts to flicker around the 2000rpm mark when the engine is cold and slowly goes away as the engine gets warmer. I notice it more as I don't drive as much outside of my days off due to living within walking distance to my workplace now.

From what I've read online, this could be the belt tensioner or the belt itself skipping on the alternator pulley, just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues/experiences?

Also, just to address a couple of things, the SRS warning, 90% sure it's the clock spring in the steering wheel from what my mechanic has told me, it's on the list to be fixed when I have the money, currently on a student budget. Previously I've had to replace the alternator several times over the last few years, I think it's eaten 4 alternators in the last 6, and this one has been in for nearly a year without any issues until the recent fault light starting to pop up, this current one was installed by my local autosparky, but I'm wondering about the "clicking" noise it's making now...

Difference in bloom between the AR with and without the magnified skull in Campaign Evolved

I noticed after getting the magnified skull, grants the MA5B it's original 60 round mag, that I wasn't hitting the shots I was prior. Turns out that by enabling the skull it transports you back to the OG CE bloom, made me feel like a kid again lol

Anyway, I figured I'd share the video of the difference, obligatory blue background and white text per old youtube tutorials lol

Suffice to say, I'll be leaving the skull off as I like being able to hit headshots with the AR like a Spartan should be able to.

I'm waiting for the rug pull

I'm hedging my bets that it'll either be a Miasman Redcowls cosmetic or Skitarii class, because as much as I love the tinfoil hattery, I have my doubts.
