Live interview went amazing

Had my live interview and I felt very calm and confident during it. (Claims Adjuster Trainee)

The Hiring manager explained the job duties and the training schedule and what hours I would be working. And what location I would be working at. (During office days)

Then asked me some star question about how I handle stressful days and how I handled angry customers

I feel if I could go back in time I could not have done any better then I did.

Quick question though, Do they always go over all of the training info and schedules during every interview? Or is that a good sign?

This Job will completely change my life for the better and I am ready for it!

Interview lasted about 45 minutes

Edit: At the end of the interview I was told I would hear something within 7-10 business days.

Live interview

I got invited to the live interview and Im very excited.

I understand they are going to ask more star questions which I have many answers lined up. But will they sometimes ask the same questions that were on the recorded interview? Iv heard many people say during the live interview they were asked “tell me about a time to had to adapt to a significant change, how did you handle it and what was the result”

This was a question in my recorded interview. If they ask it again or in a different way can I answer it the same was as I did in the recorded interview or will that look bad?

Also, what are the percentages of people being offered a job after a live interview? I’ve been told most of the time, if you’re invited to a live interview, you pretty much have the job. They’re just trying to feel you out to make sure you’re great for the company! I don’t know if that’s true or not. I don’t wanna blow this.

Trying to be proactive and optimistic.

So I am still waiting to hear back after my video-recorded interview. But I had questions about the background check. (If hired)

I’ve seen people have their offer rescinded because of Falsifying or lying on their resume.

That is not the case for me at all but I just didn’t know if I had to list every job I worked at on my resume. I left 2 jobs out of my resume because both of them I only worked for a month or less. Iv heard many people do not list every job if they are irrelevant. Which is what I did. Every job I listed on my resume was in fact true and all the years line up how they should.

Also on my resume I only have years listed no months because I’m not sure on the months.

Example job (A) 2004-2007

Job (B) 2007-2010

Job (C) 2010-Present

I had a job in between job (A) and (B) for like a month That I never listed on the resume

Then I had another job in between Job (B) and job (C) that I also never listed because it was also a month or less.

I just want to be honest and transparent as needed. I just don’t know how picky I need to be with it.

Iv heard PRogressive is hard to get into I would be devastated to lose the job if they think by not listing those other job was considered lying or not being truthful.

Am I thinking to much into this? YES I am sorry!

Who here excelled in the CGA position and loved it?

Waiting to here back to see if I get a live interview but I want to hear the positive people!

Im leaving a dealership job. Iv been a service advisor for many years many years. Currently a manger iv seen and witnessed many people that cannot do the job. Its tough I get it.

I understand its the same for CGA. Some people can handle it and some can’t there is nothing wrong with that at all.

I also understand you will never be caught up. EVER!! Its the same in the dealership world. Each advisor has at least 35-45 Work orders open at a time. While also writing up new cars/customer for the day. Most of the Work orders are waiting on parts or techs to finish the repairs. Im already used to never being caught up.

Ps. Do not tell me to run or be careful what you wish for! Unless you came from a dealership and recommended that over this.

Got invited to the video interview!!

I passed the assessment now I’m onto the next step which is a video interview. Watch many YouTube videos read a lot on here about some of the questions they ask.

Looks like there’s about 10 questions that are pretty consistent that they ask, but you’re only given eight of them at random. I hope that’s still the same. I’m working on taking notes throughout the day today, but.

How long should my answers be? They will be in star format, but no matter the situation no matter the task. I don’t know if it’s because I always get straight to the point, but my answers are probably gonna be about a minute to a minute and a half long maximum. I read on here some people say it should be about 3 to 5 minutes per answer. That seems a bit exaggerated. I also don’t want to bore interviewer. Which I understand I probably won’t. I just don’t want to seem like I’m rambling just to make the answer longer.

Edit: Is it weird while answering the questions I state “the situation was” “my task was” “the action I performed was” “the result was”

Is that not professional? It would def keep me on track so I don’t ramble off and get lost lol

Today I applied for a claims adjuster trainee position

Finally, after waiting six months and checking every day, I saw an opening and I applied instantly! I got so many thoughts running through my mind. I’m trying to be very positive.

Over the last couple months, I have posted here on Reddit but I worked in the automotive business my entire entire life. I’m currently 38 and I’ve been a service manager for a Hyundai store for about 13 years. It’s been a crazy road. I’ve dealt with many angry people. I’ve dealt with very large workloads with no end in sight. Feel like I would be the perfect candidate for the position. All I want to do is help people when they really need it. I will never work for a company that doesn’t care about their customers.

With that being said, I’m also trying to be very realistic and understand that I might not get chosen for the position. If that is the case. Let’s say they choose another candidate because they had better qualifications than me. Do I still have to wait six months before I apply again?

Which looks best?

Photo #1- the current set up. (Pictures on the walls are AI right now) I have the desk on the right side for when I want to play my switch or something else on my playstation. Or just scrolling through the web!

Photo #2- thanks to chat gpt this is what it could look like. I would have a pc stand on the back of the rig and use this set up for everything. Playing the switch, or anything else on playstation, scrolling on the web.

Overall do any of you have a set up similar to photo 2? Do you use your rig for everything else as well as racing?

Issue with Elgato 4K Pro M.2

I have my PS5 connected to it and out of nowhere the sound for the 4k capture card is giving off a very loud static sound! Nothing has changed on the pc no settings or anything. Iv slowly unplugged all usb cords and restarted the pc many many times with no change. Iv also removed the capture card and reinstalled it. I don’t know what happened I hope its a setting and not the device iv had it for less then 2 years.

Edit: iv also tried many other hdmi cables nothing changed.

UPDATE! Uninstalled 4k capture pro and installed the new elgato stuido. That fixed it

Trying to find something very similar to the Mojo Chocolates

Okay so my wife and I have never done gummies or chocolates before EVER! Then back in 2023 her sister came into town for a concert and left these (Mojo Chocolates) at our house so my wife and I decided one night to take them and WOW! So fun lol.

I love watching movies and my wife does not. But after we took these chocolates we were watching “Weapons” and man was it a trip! We kept coming up with alternate ending for the movie while watching it it was the first time iv seen my wife into a movie ever.

So now thats what we do. We take about 5-6Mg and just watch movies.

Recently we used all the chocolates and I dont know a damn thing about any of this THC stuff. All I know is it’s a Hybrid type.

So I ended up going to a dispensary near me and got the chocolates that are on the second picture.

When we take tho we seem to get tired instead of wanting to keep watching the movie. Again all I know is that they are both Hybrid types so I would assume they would give us the same feeling but that is not the case.

What do I need to look for if I can no longer find the Mojo chocolates near me! Im just looking to go to any local dispensary to get what im looking for

When I picked up the white pack of chocolates the lady at the desk asked. “Do you want the high that makes you want to get up and clean the house?” Or “jist chill and relax?” I said we just wanted to chill and watch movies!
