What race or species makes you wanna play a game just for the chance to roleplay it? (Mine is Halfling)

Hey, I'm looking to made a Gnome (similar to dwarfs from classic Final Fantasys) that for a FF V style like project, I just want to know what designs look better for that purpose. If you have any advice, please, I'll appreciate it

Hey. I'm just announcing the game I'm starting to make here. Is more of a project that I want to finish, but still, any feedback will help

What are the features?

Class system (12 classes atm, unless players want more)

​

Knight, Barbarian, Monk, Assassin, Ranger, Swashbuckler, Wizard, Sage, Spellblade, Priest, Witch and Druids

​

Magic and Skills system

​

Slot based, skills can be learn / obtained, they share the same pool but having access is restricted by how much slots are available for your character, the lvl of the spell or skill, and what class/races can learn them. (Similar to Final Fantasy 1, Divinity Original Sin,

Races (6 atm, unless players demand others)

​

Elfs, Humans, Orcs, Dwarfs, Halflings, Gnomes

​

Combat system

​

It be a classic turn based, row based (front, and back rows) most of the difficulty would come from the various types of encounters, that'll be my job

Equipment system

​

Armor slots: Headgear, Body, Accesory 1, Accesory 2

​

Types of Armor: Cloth, Light Armor, Heavy Armor

​

Weapon slots: Main Hand, Off-hand

​

Types of weapons: 1/2 handed Swords, 1/2 Handed Axes, 1/2 handed Maces, Daggers, Bows, Crossbows, Staffs, Rods, Shield (off-hand)

Engine I'll be using: RPG Maker MZ

​

Type of Art: Pixel art, mostly based on FF V from SNES and screen size of 320x180p (for 16:9 scaling)

Story: I'll be loosely based on Highlander (just because of the name), but I'll be a classic fantasy world, but with some weird stuff there in the mix, so it feels like a movie like Princess Bride, or the shorts

If you have any feedback or any advice. Please, I'll apreciate it. I started working on the pixel art of the races, it's very early on the process but I have a clear vision of what I want the game to be and it's direction, but I'll need Lot of help.
