Can I travel abroad before starting my new Skilled Worker job without affecting my visa or ILR?

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been granted a new Skilled Worker visa after switching to a new employer. My visa is already valid, but my employment with the new sponsor doesn’t start until a later date.
I’m thinking of taking a short holiday outside the UK before my first day of work and returning before I’m due to start.
Has anyone done this? Does leaving the UK before starting work with the new sponsor cause any issues with:
the validity of the Skilled Worker visa,
re-entering the UK, or
the continuous residence requirement for ILR?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation or knows how this works. Thanks!

Does anyone at Network Rail use GymFlex for David Lloyd? Can you get a couple membership?

Hi everyone,
I’m due to start at Network Rail soon and I’m trying to work out whether it’s worth waiting to join David Lloyd through the employee benefits.
I have already been quoted £250/month for a single membership or £400/month for a couple membership directly by David Lloyd Milton Keynes on a 12-month contract.
I understand that Network Rail offers GymFlex, but I can’t see the prices until my benefits are activated.
I have a few questions:
Is David Lloyd Milton Keynes available through Network Rail’s GymFlex?
Can you get a couple/joint membership through GymFlex, or is it only for individual memberships?
Roughly how much do you pay through GymFlex compared with joining directly?
Would you recommend waiting until I start before signing up?
Thanks in advance!

Manjaro tired and weight lose not happening

I am diabetic and started Mounjaro at 105 kg. After 2 months, I’m now 99 kg and currently on the 5 mg dose. Lately, I’ve been feeling very fatigued, especially when I get up after sleeping or resting for a while.

What I don’t understand is why my weight keeps fluctuating so much. In the morning I can be 99 kg, but by the afternoon I’m back to 102 kg. It’s really confusing and making me feel like I’m not actually losing weight.

I’ve also noticed that if I try not eating, I become extremely tired, but when I do eat, I sometimes feel nauseous and like I might throw up. I’m struggling to understand what the right balance or formula is.

Can someone please help me understand what might be happening?
