This issue also breaks Minecraft and other xbox login apps. normal microsoft apps like onedrive and edge logins still work fine for me.

What i noticed:

\- Only seems to hit devices that already had the Xbox app installed when this started

\- If you install Xbox on a device that never had it, it works fine

\- Reinstall / clear cache / clear data does not fix the long-used ones

\- Factory reset could fix it, but thats a terrible workaround

I also got a Microsoft ticket filed with Microsoft after sitting on the phone for a while, but who knows how long that'll take.

Workaround that worked for me (Canada):

1. Android settings

2. Search Date and time

3. Turn off Automatic time zone

4. Select time zone

5. Set region to United States and pick the right time zone for your actual time

If you're already on United States, try a different country instead.

Note: there may be another region setting somewhere else, but the one that actually mattered for me is the one under Automatic time zone in Date and time.

Then open Xbox and try sign in again.

This is just a workaround, not a real Microsoft fix. Hope they actually patch it.

Anybody else having issues with points? Ive got GP ultimate, but its only allowing me to collect minimal points, as if ive got a lower subscription. Homescreen confirms ultimate, but I was only able to collect 5 points for 15mins of a gamepass game downloaded to the console
