So, I'm going to make some assumptions here.

A) Marnus is cooked. Honestly of the big 3 question marks, he seems to have the worst recent resume and the eye test is abhorrent. I'd be surprised if he plays in Mackay.

B) Weathers looks atrocious, but his FC results in the past 18 months here and Blighty mean we regrettably have to persevere and just hope he can find something that clicks. As awful and paingul as that sounds.

C) Greeny continue to do enough to be awful to watch, but basically undroppable, partially because the other two are worse and partially because we know sending him to Shield does nothing. He hits 200 for fun and then comes back to the test side and does WA all-rounder things (pain).

So, who are the realistic options to take #3, assuking Weathers and Cam still have some sort of leash to run with?

And I mean realistic. Not Kellaway, not Konstas, not Wyllie, or some other young guy with a nice eye test and a FC average of 26.

Is it a Green to #3, Inglis to #5?

Is it McSweeney?

Is it Renshaw, and if so, is it Renshaw to open with Jake, Trav to #4 and Smith to #3 or some abstract shit?

Is it Carey to open, Inglis at #6, because fuck it, what else is there?

Whats your innovative, imaginative yet still undeniably reliable and completely logical solution to the next 12 months, under the hypothetical assumption (which you may or may not share) that Marnus is cooked and need a half summer minimum in QLD?

Australian here. As a broad reference, we have very little exposure to South American affairs or South Americans growing up and at this stage of 30 something years of age, I've knowingly met one Colombian that I know of.

As it turns out, that one Colombian....quite cute. Seems very bright. Super charming. I kinda like her so far.

She is a permanent resident in my location, so this isn't a passport bro style question!

If there anything I should know culturally if I decided to court/persue her? Mostly in terms of things I might think as standard practice that might be anywhere between perplexing to unintentionally disrespectful that I might want to avoid?

I want to be adamant, this is NOT a "how to do I woo Colombian women" posts, it's a "is there anything specific I should avoid/look out for that she will find disrespectful" post. Abundance of caution sort of thing.

Anybody have any hints on somewhere that is air conditioned, dog friendly and showing the Canada/Morocco game tomorrow?

Most of the dog friendly air conditioned spot I can think of tend to be those that likely aren't playing the game.

I know there have been some nice runs by the odd African team in the past, but this year......Africa is good. Africa as a confederation of teams...is REALLY good.

History might look back on this WC as a very important pivot in football.

Id like to add....its used to feel like Africa vs Asia vs North America (in that arguably but generally acceptable order)

Now it feels like Europe vs South America vs Africa.

I just moved into a new place and whilst in the mid to long term I plan to get some pieces that are more reflective of me personally, in the short run Im just looking to put up some "throw away" pieces to fill the space.

What are my best options for cheap wall art that I can donate afterwards? Ottawa St antique stores is my first instinct, but if anyone else has any suggestions, Id be all ears.
