Does anyone else have this problem with Fallout 3/New Vegas on Xbox Series X?

I’ve been playing Fallout 3/New Vegas on my Xbox Series X, and whenever I start the game, it sometimes has to download/sync my cloud saves.

The problem is that it takes forever — sometimes up to 20 minutes.

My internet connection is fast, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

It seems to happen specifically with the cloud save synchronization.

Does anyone else experience this? And has anyone found a way to fix or speed it up?

Creating a good-looking Shepard without mods

Does anyone else struggle with creating a Shepard they’re actually happy with? 😅

I always feel like no matter how much effort I put into the character creator, my Shepard ends up looking kinda ugly without mods.

It’s honestly one of the things stopping me from starting another playthrough. How do you guys deal with this?

Are Going Green and Perfect Storm worth it?

I own almost all Prison Architect DLCs, but I’m still missing Going Green and Perfect Storm.

Are they worth buying? I’m especially unsure about Perfect Storm because I’m worried the disasters might become more annoying than fun.

What do you guys think?

First time trying Mass Effect 1 on Insanity — any tips?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been wanting to play Mass Effect 1 again after a long time, especially since I own the whole trilogy. This time, I’d like to try playing on Insanity difficulty, partly because I want to unlock the achievements.

Do you have any tips for me? Which class would you recommend? I’d also like to try going full biotics only — is that a viable option in Mass Effect 1?

Thanks in advance!

Weird Symbol

What does this symbol above my prisoners mean?

It only appears above some prisoners. It looks like they are screaming, but their needs are fulfilled (nothing is red) and they are not suppressed. I can’t figure out what the problem is. Can anyone help?

(Xbox series x)

Prisoners won't sleep during sleep time despite having assigned beds

Hi, I’m experiencing a bug on the console version of Prison Architect.

My prison has around 70 high-security prisoners. All needs are fulfilled, everyone has an assigned cell, and all cells meet the requirements.

However, during sleep time, none of the prisoners go to bed. They just keep walking around all night.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

Is Second Chances supposed to work like this? (Xbox Console Edition)

I'm playing the Xbox One version of Prison Architect (Console Edition), and I'm a bit confused about how the Second Chances DLC is supposed to work.

I have multiple rehabilitation programs running, enough staff, enough work time in my regime, and prisoners are actually attending the programs. However, my Reform rating barely seems to improve, even after many in-game days. Is this normal, or am I missing something?

The other thing that really frustrates me is the reoffending penalty. I set parole to 0% reoffending chance, so I don't release anyone on parole unless they have essentially no predicted risk. I know that prisoners who have completed their full sentence will still be released automatically, but getting a $5,000 fine for every single prisoner who reoffends feels extremely harsh.

My prison currently only houses low-security inmates, and I'm already investing heavily in rehabilitation, so it feels like I'm being punished even when I'm doing everything the game encourages me to do.

Is this just how the DLC is balanced on the Xbox One version, or are there ways to reduce these penalties that I'm overlooking?

Is the PC version worth it if I already own the Xbox version?

I already own the Xbox version of Prison Architect with almost all DLCs, and I noticed the PC version is currently on sale on Steam for €6.

Would you say it's worth buying if I already have the console version?

What are the biggest advantages of the PC version compared to Xbox? Are there gameplay features, mechanics, mods, updates, or quality-of-life improvements that make it a much better experience?

Also, my PC is pretty old, but it does meet the minimum system requirements according to Steam. Do you think it will still run well enough to enjoy the game?

I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

Is Mannheim–Stuttgart still crashing on consoles?

I’m thinking about buying the Stuttgart-Heilbronn route, but I’ve heard that it had a lot of crash issues on consoles.

Is it playable now after the updates, or are the crashes still happening?

Also, would you recommend buying the route? Is it worth the money?

TSW6 performance better now?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been away from Train Sim World 6 for a while because I was having issues with blurry textures, stuttering, and occasional crashes.

Has the situation improved with recent updates? Are blurry textures still a thing, and how is the performance now overall on PC and consoles?

Telekinesis + pickpocketing in Gothic 1 Remake

Out of curiosity, I read through the in-game magic books and came across a note that you can use the Telekinesis rune for pickpocketing, as long as you’ve learned the skill.

I tried it out, and it actually works: once pickpocketing is unlocked, you can trigger it remotely using Telekinesis.

I find it a really fascinating little detail in the game, and thought it might be interesting for some of you in case you haven’t come across it yet.

Dear Gothic Remake: my fire mage deserves more than emotional damage

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share some frustration I have with the magic system in the Gothic Remake, especially regarding the experience of playing a mage.

I’ve always been a huge fan of mages in the Gothic games. I really enjoy the feeling of playing a spellcaster, especially a fire mage. In the setting of the Colony, mages clearly occupy a very privileged position. They are among the very few who even have access to magic, and reaching that point requires a long and demanding learning process. With each circle of magic, not only does their power increase, but also their understanding of magical knowledge. In a way, they function as the scholars of the Colony, carrying knowledge that is inaccessible to most others.

Because of that, it feels reasonable to expect something special once you fully commit to that path. The journey is long and expensive in terms of learning points—you need around 160 LP just to unlock all six circles of magic. So you’re not just investing in combat power, but in the idea of a deeply educated character who has spent years mastering magical knowledge.

In practice, though, the payoff doesn’t always feel satisfying.

Some spells do become useful later on, but many feel either too situational or simply too weak. One of the biggest issues for me is fighting demons. I often felt like I barely had the right tools as a mage. Spells like Fire Storm seem to deal almost no meaningful damage against certain enemies, which leads to situations where you end up spamming something like Magic Missile/Kugelblitz dozens of times just to have a realistic chance.

This creates a strange imbalance: you invest 160 learning points, reach Circle 6, and technically achieve the highest level of magical mastery in the game. But against certain enemies, it still doesn’t feel like you are truly powerful in a satisfying way. Especially for a fire mage, I would expect the late game to really deliver that feeling of overwhelming magical power.

Don’t get me wrong—I’m not asking for mages to trivialize combat. But right now it often feels like the massive investment required to become a mage is not fully reflected in the gameplay payoff. If mages are portrayed as rare, highly educated masters of magic within the world, that status should also be reflected more clearly in how powerful they feel in practice.

I’m curious if others feel the same way or if I’m just seeing this differently from the rest of the community.
