My VSS at home “SKS sporter” finally have her threaded and concentric. Haven’t tried the can out yet but I’m excited to take it out! Hoping to harvest a deer and possibly a bear this season

US cousin here, I bought this greener GP knowing most of its history and I loved it, bought it Tuesday, took it turkey hunting and bagged one on Wednesday.

My question is… would the breech and firing pin withstand the presure of 45colt or 45-70gvt? I know some people used them to make interesting rifles and I came across a few chamber reducers that are essentially barrels ment to work in 12 gauge shotguns, they have both 45 colt and 45/70 chamber reducers which would contain the bulk of the pressure, would the firing pin and action be fine?

I do intend to keep it mostly as is, very happy with the performance but would like to shoot either caliber for funsies/ LARP.
