An expert quoted me $7,850 to redo the fireplace flue liner with either a fire proof insulated flue or to pour in the insulation later and to install a Osburn 2000 stove. I imagine a handy man would do it for much cheaper, especially if I order the stove myself.

Is it really that complicated? I was thinking of just hiring an expert to verify his work to make sure it’s done correctly or to correct what needs to be done.

A little worry that he might just guess at what he needs to do and it would be throwing money down the toilet at a gamble of saving money.

I came to realize the consequences of adopting a hamster from Petsmart is not just from the ethics, but more than likely, you’re adopting a feral hamster. Assuming the breeder handles their hamsters well, they will become familiar with being handled in a proper environment since they were born and more than likely, to be better pets. My hamster saw me as a threat for many weeks, but after understanding he is feral, I treated him differently where he is no longer afraid of me, but still does not want to form a connection. He doesn’t hide from me when I approach the cage, but he doesn’t engage with me either. I even saw how he refuses to allow me to handle him, but allows for me to use a cup to lift him out of the cage. He doesn’t always accept a treat from me, but still eats it completely, even with the scent from my hand is on it. I haven’t really seen people talk about this when discussing adopting from a pet mill, but thought it should be mentioned that the hamsters will more likely to be feral after adopting them.

I normally have a great experience with customers until they either try to negotiate pricing or to straight up change our contract. She kept negotiating price and I figured that I would be wasting $60 on a lead if I said no. I captured over 900 photos for her, but all she could complain about is the decor photos not being included. She mentioned it only before the party and I think in the beginning, but once I was ready, she wanted me to start capturing photos of her and her husband. I sort of forgot and now she’s being upset with me. She hasn’t asked for a refund yet as our contracted stated no refunds, period. I felt this was something she should had stated during our initial conversation if it was that important, but now I feel she is just looking for an excuse to get a refund because I told her she needed to pay for 30 minutes of my time when she insisted to take more photos outside our agreed time because her husband took forever.
