Severe DR with an umbilical hernia

Severe DR with an umbilical hernia

Hey all, I have severe DR and an umbilical hernia from having 2 babies, PT said they can’t fix it and I found a surgeon who is going to fix it and even take off some loose skin and it will be covered by insurance thank god! Has anyone had this severe of it like me or had the surgery? I would like to know how tough recovery was because I’m still 3 months post partum but they want to do the surgery soon. It looks larger in person, when I had my second baby, they immediately knew I had bad Dr and wrote “severe diastasis recti”

Diastasis recti and umbilical hernia

Anyone else have severe DR and an umbilical hernia? It started in my first pregnancy back in 2023 and now I’m 7 weeks post partum with my 2nd baby and it’s way worse!!! I look 5 months pregnant lol I’m starting PT on August 4th at least .. I know I’ll need surgery either way to fix the hernia. This is a picture of me “sucking it in” obviously it’s just a hard bulge so I can’t.

Olive brown or Walnut crunch?

Looking for a good jacket for early fall and this one caught my eye.. it seems roomy, I’m 6 weeks postpartum so need a jacket kinda loose fitting so I’ll probably get a large based on the size chart.

Should I get olive brown or walnut crunch for fall???? My skin tone is a warm/neutral medium olive! I’m shade 6 in Giorgio Armani foundation for reference… thanks!

Would you stay friends?

My husband and I have a couple friend who he’s been friends with them since senior year of high school which was back in like 2014, I met them in 2017 when my husband and I started dating. They have 2 little girls, 6 and 4. And we have a 3 year old girl and a new born baby boy. The wife was really upset when she found out that her second was another girl, like she cried ALOT about it. Well she was really supportive of my pregnancy with our son until she found out it was a boy.. then she stopped messaging us completely. The husband would call my husband time to time to say hi but they even didn’t tell us happy birthday which they would always do. Before they found out that we were having a boy, the wife told my husband “I can’t picture him ever being a boy dad” which I thought was weird.

Well I just had my son earlier this month and still nothing from her, just the husband said congratulations to us.

If she reaches out again later on, would you still be friends with this couple? Or should I just cut them off now? Or at least the wife? Idk.

Toddler hates grandma?!?

Hey all, I have a daughter who will be 3 next month in July. And just gave birth to my son a week ago. Even before baby was born, my daughter absolutely hates my mother in law, she’s a very sweet lady who watches her 3 days a week while my husband and I work full time but my daughter is only nice to her grandma when they’re alone together. For example, if my mother in law comes over to help us with the baby, my daughter will yell and scream and her saying GO HOME I DONT LIKE YOU AND I DONT WANT YOU HERE!!! And will push or try to hit her… it sucks because we do need my mother in laws help but it’s always a battle of keeping my daughter from harming her.. she’s nice to my mom (her other grandma) but it’s just my mother in law and she’s always so nice and patient with her so I don’t understand??? Sometimes I wonder if it’s because my MIL only speaks Spanish and we don’t speak Spanish in the home so my daughter isn’t bilingual but she knows a few words here and there.. I don’t know honestly!
