Have to share this wholesome interaction I had with a Sett master when I tried the champion for the first time

I got this new Heartsteel Sett skin so I wanted to try him out. But Rito matchmade me against a 500k mastery Sett lol.

But dude was so kind and encouraging. He took the time to explain how the champ works, what combos to use, how to pilot him. I don't think I've ever experienced this level of camaraderie and fun in this game outside of premades in so long. Didn't even notice or care I and the team were losing.

If you're reading this Sett, thanks for this unforgettable experience and wish more people were more like you in this world!

I don't know what to do to improve anymore (ADC struggling to have an impact and win games)

Hello, a while ago, I've made this post about my struggles as ADC. Ever since, a couple of things changed:

- I've somehow climbed to gold 3 (stuck for a while tho)

- I understand fundamentals a lot better from watching videos on YT and analyzing my replays and pro replays.

But altho I have more knowledge and understanding of the game than before, it gets me nowhere; I can't apply it.

Before a game even begins, I analyze team comps and try to form a game plan. Should we play aggressive or passive, push for bounce back or freeze, what are our win conditions and what are theirs, etc.

I genuinely have no idea if I'm doing anything right because let's say for example one game we're facing an aggressive all-in duo like Leona and Tris who should stomp MF and Sona in a level 2 all in, it has happened that we've somehow won. What happened? Did they fuck up or did we play it well? And the opposite situation is also true where I'm playing a duo that's supposed to be stronger early than my opponents but they stomp us. And that's not considering same match-ups but different players. So I genuinely never know what I'm learning from what I did right and wrong.

This results in unsatisfying games. The games I win feel like I did nothing extraordinary and got carried thanks to support and jungler + enemies making terrible mistakes. Other games I lose horribly, go 2/8 by 15min and feel like an imposter who should be iron.

I do analyze those games, look at my deaths and what led to them. I can only see that once I start being behind on too much gold and exp, I can never recover. I die every fight I join, even if I deal no dmg, enemies still go for me first.

What am I missing to actually improve and not fumble in the dark so badly every time I enter the arena?

Highly recommend people to start watching this new show Widow's Bay if you loved Midnight Mass

These two champs are the ones that cause me the most problems. It doesn't matter if Yasuo is bot or mid btw, I just cannot win (if he's good) if he's in the game. Same for Nocturne, unless I have a Leona hugging me, I can rarely survive his all in without flash. And for my team, just losing vision due to his ult just causes everyone to panic.

Now I only have one ban. So I have to learn how to deal with the other. Who do you think is easier to deal with? I guess the answers are probably dependent on the champion you play.

So in my case, I main MF, but can play Lucian, Jinx, Smolder, and a bit of Ashe. I'm very open to learning and picking a champion just for when either Yasuo or Nocturne pop up.
