Black Hole Piece: From colored pencil to vector

This vector piece was part of my old portfolio. It was a re-creation of an old colored pencil artwork I had created in school. Very heavy use of Illustrator's built in "photoshop" Effects. I added images explaining the process and each step to creating the nebula in the background (At the end of all those effects, there's a "lighten" blending mode to hide the black and only shine the light of the nebula).

Gradient mesh tool was used on the clouds. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Cozy Isometric Room concept

This was an old isometric room design concept I made a year or so ago. Put in a lot of work and just never shared it beyond my portfolio, so here it is! It's fully vector and made 100% in Adobe Illustrator. Will happily answer any questions.

Cover art not downloading in the correct format (ratio).

I've switched from spotdl to ytdl when Spotify updated their developer token access to only premium accounts, so I'm getting familiar with some of the stuff, but I only have one problem. When embedding, or writing the cover art, it is downloaded in 1280 x 720 (landscape) format rather than a square format, with the square cover art in the middle and awkward solid blocks of color filling the space. Not a major issue, as the music itself is there, the other metadata is there, and the cover art itself is technically also there. It's just not downloading in the format that is displayed under YouTube Music.

My guess is it's downloading the landscape format because it's scraping the YouTube metadata, rather than the YouTube MUSIC metadata, and I don't know how to fix it.

For the record, I've used --write-thumbnail, --add-metadata, and --embed-thumbnail, all of which produce this result (although add metadata doesn't actually seem to add cover art metadata, only other metadata). Any ideas?

Strange problem with how album cover art is being displayed

Not sure where to post this, but as the title said the album cover art is displaying strangely.

For context, I used to use spotdl for music downloads, but since api changes made that impossible for free users I switched to just plain ytdlp, and the songs album cover art downloaded from that batch appear to be broken somehow. It's weird cuz it displays perfectly fine in computer, and sometimes even displays correctly on phone, but other times there's an added horizontal block of color behind the album cover that is bothersome.

I guess I'm asking if this is a problem with how software read the metadata or if it's a problem with the metadata itself...

Musicolet- album cover display issue

Recently encountered a display issue for the album cover art of the most recent batch of songs I've added. Instead of displaying it normally, in a square format, it adds an awkward horizontal solid background and makes the album cover fit weird. The album art is stored in a square format, so I'm not sure why this is happening or what I should do to try and fix it. It's not the biggest deal but still a nuisance. Any suggestions?

I'm using the app musicolet if that wasn't already clear.
