Nine-Eleven Tavern, Adolf's Old First Ward, Anchor Bar

My wife and I along with a best friend did a quick trip to Buffalo yesterday just for wings. We flew in Saturday morning and went on a spree. We had a blast not only getting wings, but hitting some neighborhood dives, eating sponge chocolate, and finishing with a comedy show. Definitely recommend a quick day trip for wings fans. In order of my favorite first:

Nine eleven: Ordered hot, along with fries. Absolutely amazing, though could be hotter. I loved the fries, great with vinegar.

Adolfs: Hot honey Cajun. The wings were very crunchy and super juicy. I wasn't happy with my choice in sauce, I look forward to returning and trying other sauces. The home made blue cheese is everything everyone raves about. Reminded me of a thick garlic sauce.

Anchor Bar: medium classic buffalo. we wanted to try this spot first, and we had limited expectations. I really wanted to compare the often reported mediocre Anchor bar wings to what I typically get here in Detroit. They were way better than what I find at home, also I enjoyed the sauce. The wings were definitely not prepared as well as Adolf's or nine eleven. I probably will not go here again.

We definitely will go back.

Tomaso's Canteen

Tomaso's Canteen in Portland, Maine. Wife and I did a quick weekend trip for some lobster rolls, Luke's and Highroller did not disappoint. We typically will try local wings when we travel.

I ordered the buffalo, typical franks based. Deep fried. Mildly crispy on the outside, mildly dry on the inside. They were fine. Definitely can tell they were frozen. I'm not sure if we have an official rating system in the community, if we did I would rank these as serviceable.

Property tax

Hello all. My summer tax bill is about $23,000 for a condo I purchased for about $500,000. The NEZ abatement is up, but my tax bill still shows 2 parcels, with the taxable value adding up to nearly $500,000. Does this sounds correct? Any insight is appreciated.

Error recieving multimedia message

Hello. I'm using warp. Since using warp, sometimes I recieve this message when someone sees me a text. I believe it only happens with multimedia texts. I do recieve multimedia texts sometimes (pictures etc.) But other times I get this error, and it does not download. Support says they changed some settings, but it still happens sporadically. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm using Graphene os on a pixel 8 pro, I never had this issue with Verizon. I've been using usm with warp for about 2 months, and it has been persistent.

Jalen Duren and qualifying offer options.

Can someone with better NBA contract knowledge help me with a little insight?

I know JD is considering the QO. If he takes the QO, would we be able to trade him prior to the deadline? Or would we have to keep him until the season is up, and he hunts for a big bag?

Not a doomer here, just interested in options and different scenerios.

GFN on Linux minimum requirements (RX 580 8gb)

Hello all.

Since the native linux client released, I've been unable to use GFN on my desktop (I have an ultimate sub). The GPU is a rx 580 8gb. The linux client will not start. I know the RX 580 is supported on windows (with lower features and options). Does this card meet the minimum requirements for the linux build?

I realize it is in beta, and I'm not complaining. I'm very happy with the service on my NVIDIA shield, steam machine and steam deck. I just would love to be able to use it on my old desktop.

Switching phone with physical sim.

Hello all. Quick question, if I have 2 cell phones and one physical sim, can I simply swap my sim between both phones and get service? Or would there be more steps to this?

I basically want to have service with the same number, depending on which phone I feel like using.

Geforce now launches in small box when steam deck is docked.

Hello, seeing if anyone may be able to help. When I open geforce now through my steam deck when docked, it does not show up in full screen. Once i launch a game through gfn it is in full screen, but having to navigate gfn in this small box is getting annoying. My installed games are full screen. When launching gfn using the native screen, it is full screen.

I've tried switching max game resolution to native and that does not work.

Of note, everything worked perfect until I installed non steam launcher, which I have now un installed.

I've tried uninstalling gfn and reinstalling with no luck. I've made sure to download the steam deck version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Crimson Desert 1440 @120 without frame gen

I'm pretty sensitive to any lag so i want to try and maximize decreased latency. Currently running dlss 4.5 with frame gen x2. Curious to see if anyone in this sub has maximized low lag? I keep trying to tweak but i seem to run back to frame gen to reach 120.

I'm running GFN on a steam deck oled docked, 1440 144hz monitor.
