Looking for the perfect dress watch, Blancpain Villeret

I am looking for a gold dress watch and keep coming back to the Blancpain Villeret. I tried on the beautiful Blancpain Villeret 6224 3642 55B. This one is currently out of budget and a vintage might be an option. Ideally around €3.000 which is quite tight, especially for the larger watches. 38-40mm would be the best for me but I think 34-36mm could work (wrist 18.5cm).

Picture 2 and 3 showing a 34mm Blancpain Villeret from ~1990. Would you dare buying something like this? Anything specific to look for?

[Gift] Pink sapphire tennis bracelet for birth of our daughter (thanks to you all)

Previous topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/jewelry/s/ph4iSJqngF

The tennis bracelet was finished and we picked it up. My wife was very surprised and super happy! I ended up with a custom pink sapphire tennis bracelet in 18kt yellow gold. About 5.5 carat in natural sapphires and 17.5 cm long. The jewelry store was again very pleasant to work with.

The sapphires took longer to deliver because the first shipment of stones from the supplier was stolen from the package and arrived empty. Luckily they were able to source new matching stones a few weeks after.

Thanks again for the advice!

Unexpectedly fell in love with the Seamaster 300M NTTD!

My search for a new high quality watch has led me to the NTTD. The size, color, weight and bracelet all felt right when trying it on today. Truly a beautiful watch for every day wear.

I looked at Tudor, Longines, Panerai, Zenith and Rolex options in person. Only the Rolex submariner no date peaked my interest (unavailable in shop for a long time…). I hope to see some of the Blancpain Bathyscaphe models in person still before I can make a decision. Especially the 5903 1110 63A seems to be a beautiful watch but also nearly impossible to obtain. I am convinced by now I want a diver without date or chronographs, too busy!

The feeling of paying a lot of money for the NTTD without it being a limited production is somehow holding me back for now, anyone else with this feeling?

[Help] Pink sapphire and yellow gold bracelet for birth of daughter

For the birth of our daughter I want to gift my wife a gold bracelet with pink sapphires. I have gifted her a gold necklace with a single blue sapphire before for the birth of our son. My first thought was to look for a bracelet with a single sapphire but those feel kinda random to me since it will turn in the wrist. Tennis bracelets have caught my eye since I started looking further into options. I want it to be a strong (toddler around) bracelet for daily wear, whatever the occasion. She does not wear a watch or other bracelets. All her jewelry is yellow gold.

What are your thoughts on the attached options? They can all be custom made with yellow gold and pastel pink sapphires (which I prefer). The Cuban would costs around €6000 and the tennis bracelet €4000. All natural heated sapphires about 5ct, 18kt gold and in size 17.5 cm.

Attached a picture of the necklace as a reference.

Thank you! 🙏

Edit: Tennis bracelet it will be! Any advice when it comes to tennis bracelets to determine if it’s good quality work? Certain links better than others?
