Remote practicum for RHIT

So I'm getting near the end of my Associates to qualify for the RHIT exam, and havw to do a second 90 hour practicum to meet the 180 hour requirement. Last one I had I got to work in an RCM department, it was great. Wish they would have hired me, aha. But they didn't have a spot open.

Anyway, this next one will be remote. I'm transferring schools (and yes the new one is CAHIIM-accredited as well, same state even) and the instructor is well, quiet about details on this. School doesn't start back up for another week, but I like to be prepared and she just refuses to share any details of what the work will look like and to just sit tight until opening week.

It's really frustrating. So I am wondering if any of y'all have experience with remote practicums, if you have any idea of what I can expect as far as job duties. Would it just be coding? Will I be expected to be perfect at it? Because even with studying I still struggle coding some areas, cardio is a nightmare lol.

TIA!

Nearly 30 years this game has been with us

We've gone past many life milestones but something about this game and world still hits. People can call it overrated all they want but it still resonates with me. The way the game handles death, grief, and moving on. The incredible soundtrack. The highly customizable but intuitive gameplay.

I can still remember the first time I played it. My brother's friend had gotten stuck in the train graveyard and needed "someone good at games" to get him out. So my brother had him bring it over, and not only did I get him out, I got hooked. Had to have my own copy immediately. Best present I ever got for Christmas.

I can also remember the hype for Advent Children. I still love that movie, even if some of the characterization doesn't hold up to scrutiny. The action scenes blew my mind. I still think some of the voice acting holds up, even if all of it doesn't lol. They perfectly cast Seph in thr English dub tho. Even before that, we got a bootleg Japanese copy, we didn't knowmif it was coming to the US. I remember my pupils dilating when Kadaj turned into Seph.

Now we're approaching the end to the remake series. I've been enjoying that too. I'm curious to see where they go with it! I will say one thing though. I'm glad they shot for something different for the remake series. If I want the original story I'll just play the original game. Nothing wrong with it.

FFVII Revelation difficulty

I was just thinkin about how after doing Remake hard mode, I found Rebirth's normal mode too easy, I was kinda kicking myself for hot playing on dynamic after the fact. Rebirth hard mode was a welcome step up from both, though.

Which has me concerned because haven't multiple difficulties been de-confirmed for Revelation, due to a larger endgame? I hope they really deliver because I'm worried it will be too easy after Rebirth's hard mode. Especially, presumably, Safer Sephiroth. Always bummed me out how easy he was in the OG. Hope he puts up more of a fight.

What do y'all think? Will we still see some kind of difficulty upgrade for veterans like dynamic mode? I hope so.

Spoiler-free advice for Rebirth!

With the Switch 2 and Xbox ports coming out tomorrow, I thought I would give some advice to new players if they want it. If you don't then go ahead and skip this :D

-There is a WHOLE lotta game here. The main campaign is about as long as Remake, but if you do all the side stuff, it takes 80-100 hours before you roll credits, and you still won't have really done everything, just everything that you can that first play through. Burnout has been a consistent topic in the discourse. So keep two things in mind: just like Remake you get a chapter select when you beat the game, and part 3's title hasn't even been announced yet. If you burnout easy, mostly stick to the main campaign, then chip away at other things at your leisure after you beat it. Keep it fun!

-Assess those enemies, especially bosses! Not only will it help in gameplay but it unlocks more fights in the simulator.

-Don't be afraid to turn the difficulty down if you're struggling. This game plays like Remake but they added several new subsystems that while I personally enjoyed it, I know someone who struggled with it a lot more than Remake.

-Just like original FFVII, there are a few mandatory mini-games, so be ready for that. Most mini-games are actually side content but there are a few required ones.

Alright, hope y'all have fun tomorrow!

I hope they do my boys justice in part 3

Always have a blast fighting these two, even if I have to do some grinding. We better get our asses kicked if we run into them!
