Retroid Pocket 6 vs AYN Thor Pro for my birthday which one would you pick?

My birthday is coming up and I’ve decided to treat myself to a new handheld, but I’m stuck between the Retroid Pocket 6 (12GB) and the AYN Thor Pro.
The RP6 is around $279, while the Thor Pro is considerably more expensive. I can afford either one, but I’m trying to figure out if the Thor Pro is actually worth paying the extra money for.
I already own a Lenovo Legion Go, Nintendo Switch, R36S, TrimUI Smart Pro, and an Anbernic RG SP is on the way, so this would mainly be another handheld for emulation and Android gaming rather than my only gaming device.
One thing making the decision harder is that I really like the dual-screen idea of the Thor, especially for DS/3DS emulation, but the RP6 also has the optional second-screen accessory, so technically I could get a similar setup later.
For people who have used either (or ideally both):
Is the Thor Pro actually worth the price difference?
How big is the difference in performance and overall experience?
Which one is more comfortable for longer sessions?
How good is the RP6 with the second-screen accessory compared to the Thor?
If you already had a Legion Go, which one would make more sense as a smaller handheld?
If it were your birthday money, RP6 12GB or Thor Pro? 🎮

Just switched my Acer Nitro 5 to Bazzite what can I use instead of NitroSense for fan control?

Hey everyone!

I recently switched my Acer Nitro 5 from Windows to Bazzite, and so far I'm really liking it.

The main thing I'm missing from Windows is NitroSense, specifically the ability to manually control the CPU/GPU fans and increase the fan speed while gaming.

Is there a good alternative for Bazzite/Linux that works with Acer Nitro 5 laptops?

Ideally, I'd like something that lets me:

  • Monitor CPU/GPU temperatures
  • Control the fan speeds manually
  • Set fan curves if possible
  • Quickly set the fans to max while gaming

What are you guys using?

Thanks!

Is there a Linux alternative to NS-USBloader for installing games via USB?

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from Windows to Linux, and I’m looking for a way to install games on my Nintendo Switch through USB, similar to how NS-USBloader works.

Is there a reliable Linux application for this? Does NS-USBloader work properly on Linux, or is there a better alternative that you recommend?

Is there a way to use Discord while in gaming mode?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Bazzite on my Lenovo Legion Go for a while, and I mostly play in Gaming Mode. I don’t usually use Desktop Mode for gaming.

I’d like to use Discord while playing, mainly for voice chat or checking messages, without having to switch back to Desktop Mode every time.

Is there a good way to run Discord in Gaming Mode?

Any tips from other Bazzite or Legion Go users would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I recently started exploring Polymarket, mainly as a hobby, but with a deeper interest behind it. I’m not really here to gamble randomly what actually caught my attention is the idea of approaching this from a more systematic and probabilistic perspective.

I’d like to understand how to think in terms of probabilities, expected value, market inefficiencies, and maybe even develop some kind of structured strategy over time. Right now I’m just getting started, learning how things work and observing patterns.

I’m curious — are there any communities, resources, or spaces where people actively share strategies, models, or even tools related to prediction markets? I’d love to learn from others who are taking a more analytical approach rather than just betting for fun.

Also, if you’ve been doing this for a while, what helped you move from intuition to something more structured?
