I don’t think this falls into medical advice, I’m just seeking some life experience I guess. Apologies (genuinely) if this is against the rules.
What is this?
It’s lovely weather, I want to put my headphones in and go for a walk.
But do I walk to the beach or do I drive (it is walking distance but I can drive further away too).
Do I wear shoes? Or thongs (flip flops) or barefoot?
What if there’s people where I want to walk?
Do I want to wear a hat?
Do I want to wear a singlet because it’s sunny or a shirt because it’s winter?
Do I want to wear shorts and get some tan? Or just leave my dress on? Or longer tights?
If I wear my noise cancelling headphones, what if I don’t hear someone say hi that knows me and I seem rude (it’s a small town).
And eventually it all gets too hard and I just don’t bother going for a walk ……. HELP!?

I know this isn’t directly about fishing, more fishing adjacent and if it’s not allowed I really apologise.
I have to wear prescription sunglasses. Must. Historically, I have bought Ray Bans (new wayfarers) but we’ve worked out that the polarisation on them isn’t really … good. It doesn’t really cover the whole lens and it definitely doesn’t cut through the water like polarised fishing sunnies. My partner wears brown Spotters and he can see things I just cannot because of the polarisation.
Problem is I don’t like any of the Spotters that can have prescription lenses put in them.
So send me your recommendations for good fishing sunnies that can be made with a prescription lenses. Bonus points for women’s or at least less masculine shapes!

I am looking for a pair of bikini bottoms. My criteria is:
- Mid-high waisted - not super high
- No ruffles or minimal ruffles
- Full-ish coverage at the front
- Teeny bit cheeky in the butt - not like g string or anything like that.
- Decent thick fabric.
- Not pretty-but-crappy quality, I’m gonna be wearing these things fishing, beach swimming etc etc so they need to be good quality.
- Preferably plain black but not a deal breaker.
If I have to give up one criteria, it’d be the cheeky bit, the rest is important.
I have a bikini top I love but bottoms escape me.
I’m about a size 16-18 so plus size is a must.

I’m looking for some sort of activity to do in Brisbane city, for a couple of hours, with a small group of girlfriends for a big birthday. Probably 4-5 people max. Love the idea of a spa day or high tea, something we can hang out together though, rather than being off separated.
Would love any suggestions, or any particular restaurants or high teas you’ve had success with in the past. Thanks!
