FFXIV plugins again, this time with stalking features

I know that some FFXIV players may be already aware of that, but some other players may not. Some third-party FFXIV plugin "developers" keep recreating plugins that can gather information about players, particularly information about alt characters linked to main character, and list that info on website in a searchable form. There are already multiple threads on official forums that mention these plugins:

https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/619-English-Forums#threads/529686

https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/619-English-Forums#threads/529588

https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/619-English-Forums#threads/514672

As well as other subreddits:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/1ut2c7h/playerscope\_is\_back\_and\_alt\_tracking\_is\_still/

https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxivdiscussion/comments/1ushjxb/the\_stalker\_plugin\_is\_able\_to\_successfully/

The subreddit posts show examples of this plugin successfully tracking alt accounts.

For some people this may not be a problem, but there are also plenty of players who don't want their alts being tracked, for various reasons, including past stalking experience.

So far SE hasn't publicly reacted to the latest version of this plugin. Maybe after such multiple conversations they will finally fix the issue that allows such plugins to gather info about player alt accounts... or maybe they will add a "plugin detector" and start banning everyone using any kind of third-party plugins (though I personally highly doubt this will happen).

Socialization enhancing features/add-ons in MMOs

Ok, so y'all know that many MMOs do not give much focus to socialization/RP part by design, be it either past MMOs or current ones. Thankfully some MMOs have very creative users who create their own plugins/add-ons to compensate for that. For example, FFXIV has AetherLove user-created third-party plugin (yes, it's ok to mention it, it has already been mentioned all over social media, YouTube videos, Dexerto and other places):

https://aetherlove.space/

Basically it functions like a dating app - you create your own profile, fill it with hobbies/preferences/RP info, then browse other user profiles to hopefully match with one with similar hobbies/interests. Unlike in-game tools it has additional safety features built in, like not revealing your in-game character name until you want to do it and end-to-end chat encryption. And yes, you can obviously use it for both the SFW matching as well as optional (disabled by default) NSFW matching.

So out of pure, genuine curiosity, how many social players would use similar (to this plugin) functionality, either built into game or as third-party plugin, in whatever MMO they like playing? And yes, it's perfectly fine if you don't like socializing/RP or prefer to do it passively and never want to use any such functionality in any MMO, all choices are valid and I am not doing this to berate anyone for that.

[Android] Can you please adjust your Home feed algorithms to stop pushing 6-day-old posts in Android app? [version 2026.25.0]

Seriously, why do I keep seeing 3-day to 6-day old posts each time I refresh Home feed in official Android app? I don't want to see, for example, a 6-day-old post about local weather from local state subreddit on top of my Home feed, this weather post has outdated data, it's irrational for me to "engage" with it. Same goes for posts that I already downvoted, or already replied to - there's no rational reason for them to keep appearing in Home feed over and over, I have no reasons to click on them again.

Please kindly adjust this bug/feature and make it at least more rational.

Possible new feature/setting to add to Reddit app patches?

Hey, I am using the patched official Reddit app, which worked fine. Recently I have noticed Reddit adjusting its algorithm and pushing 4-6 day old posts into "Home" feed. I don't care for such old posts, especially when Reddit puts such old post back into "Home" feed after I already downvoted it. I don't know who is responsible for making patches for Reddit app but I wonder if it is possible for a patch/setting to prevent 4-day and older posts from appearing in "Home" feed in patched app.

Ukrainian IPI Malyuk bullpup

Just thought I'd share the interesting video with all other bullpup enthusiasts (I know there are few of them here) or gun enthusiasts in general. It's obviously not my YouTube channel, just a channel of some other person I followed for long time. No politics in this video, just gun itself. And no, unfortunately you cannot buy it in US (or most other countries) yet. Maybe some day ;)

Just a friendly reminder: don't forget to sign up for Community Solar project if you can't install solar panels on your own roof

Here's the NJ state government site which will tell you about it and which will let you choose the company based on your location:

https://cleanenergy.nj.gov/programs/solar/community-solar-for-subscribers

You do not have to pay anything, all calculations are done on your utility bill and you will always have at least some discount. It will not be the same every month, it depends on how much power the panels of particular site will generate during the day, but even if it is something like $7/month it is still better than nothing. My last month's discount was $30, though during winter it was much less than that.

Camelot Unchained developers released another video of "gameplay"

I did not see this mentioned it yet, so I thought I'd post it myself. Meet the "Devout":

https://youtu.be/f-GV8pelfOU?si=jOVlV4VnxSs9KBGL

Just marvel at the elaborate resurrection animation ;) Or at the random pot this archetype can summon for some random reason.

Edit: oh, and they're gonna be doing an AoC-like Steam dump soon, they already got a Steam "Early Access" page for this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3997970/Camelot_Unchained/
