Finally running like it should. Colt mag lower > Colt mag adaptor

Build list: spikes colt mag lower, milspec trigger, milspec carbine buffer tube and HAR brace, matrix 9mm upper, KVP bolt, KVP 10oz extended buffer, carbine buffer spring, BA EPC 5.5 barrel, warhammer CH, prisma 4.2 handguard, noveske tri lug MD, DAC VCG grip, Romeo5 elite, harbor freight tlr1 clone, YHM r9

A few months ago I posted on here about my build and was using the standard R&D colt mag adapter with PSA lower. I did the snake bite mod and properly adjusted my ejector, but kept running into problems.

No matter how hard I tried to secure the adaptor it would always slide up with inserting a mag with the slightest amount of force. I eventually gave up on it and decided to give the spikes lower a shot. And man am I happy I did. This thing ran great right out of the box. I even contacted spikes to get a second ejector as a backup, if I ended up adjusting mine wrong. Well I guess I got lucky, because out of the box even with the ejector not perfect, this thing has run flawlessly suppressed and unsuppressed. Both the C product and metal form mags feed and fit great. LRBHO has worked on everything, and I’m finally happy to have an AR9 that can run with a little abuse.

If you’re thinking of making a colt mag style I highly recommend just spending a little bit of money and getting a dedicated lower.

Eats first can of herring, immediately goes online and buy $70 worth of tinned fish

Can’t wait to try them all, the orange and clove tuna seems like it will be…interesting.

Edit:spelling

Is my LGS on drugs or am I just a poor person

They have a Vepr 5.45 for $5500. Claimed to be brand new and unfired. Comes with 6 mags. Did these things really shoot up to this high?

First shorty AK Sam7k

I was suckered in by the 250 sale. Somehow I doubt there was only 250 of each.

Anyway, hopefully it’s fun at least. Still need to pick up a side rail optics mount and throw one of my holosuns on it. Might also invest in some new furniture in the future.

Are these gas tubes always so loose/rattly? It seems to move around a lot compared to my m70. But the locking system seems to just be a pin.

She’s so…heavy,heavy, heavy.

The wife won’t let me buy a sam7k so I’m left playing with this fat bitch. I never paid much attention to the extra pound on the yugo’s, but putting the heaviest suppressor I have on it really made me realize I need a short setup.

Hello I'm trying to make a mini emulation console from my wife and I'm wondering which processor would be better. I'm finding them for around the same price online and plan to have it play up to original Xbox, but mostly ps2 and GameCube. Im hoping to push 2-3x resolution.

The i3 has higher single thread scores but the i7 has better multi thread. I'm sure i can achieve this for less, but was trying to futureproof myself slightly incase she also wants to get into Xbox 360 and ps3 titles. Im not sure the i7 can handle it or not.

I seem to be able to find these processors in the HP Elitedesk mini as well for around the same price, is there any reason to go HP over Dell?

PSA stealth lower, with Brownells 733 clone upper. Out front is a CAT RDM ODB and up top is a cheap vortex strikefire II sitting on a Leupold handle mount.

I finally got the supersaftey running perfect, and am waiting on its form 1 to clear so I can’t get a proper CAR15 stock on it.

And on the couch is Redacted.

Supersaftey finally running flawlessly with the CAT ODB. Just waiting on my form1 to throw a proper stock on her. And maybe pick up an aimpoint optic.
