Hi everyone. I've been doing a lot of family tree research lately and I've found that I have a lot of connections to the Peak District, particularly the village of Edale. I'd like to drive down and visit (about 1 + 1/2 hour drive). I know Edale is a very popular village and can get busy (especially on weekends which I will avoid) so does anyone know a week day when it's quieter? I'd like to be able to walk around and soak up the atmosphere without lots of people around. Thanks.

Those are the two I vividly remember the most from driving through the illuminations as a child, so I have nostalgia for them. I still visit Blackpool regularly but I've not done the illuminations in 20 years.
