Some mods are hard
is there anyone else just playing Skirmish battles?
In some mods I cannot go into ground assault skirmishes because the easy AI is obliterating me lol

Ragnaraika connects Plants, Reptile and Insect
Tri-Brigade connects Beast Warrior, Winged Beast and Beast
Sharks connect Fish and Sea Serpent though you could also include Aqua (?)
Which other synergy and pairing did you notice in the game? I am currently sorting my cards and I was kind of thinking of grouping monster types or levels together depending on storage space and make this process more efficient.
Rarity Collection 5: only had to buy Obelisk Single pulled the other two from random packs.
I think that it is worth exploring Genesys without Side Deck for putting more focus on deckbuilding and avoiding pointed cards never seeing play in the side deck. I remember recent and past discussions about the side deck in the TCG as well as some videos from pro players but felt indifferent about it for the most part since I mess up the side decking anyways and do not compete in tournaments. In the few Genesys tournaments I have played in, I lost games due to poor side decking decisions and not knowing what could be worth siding out and in between games because, for the most part, I already try to cover different removal options in the Main Deck all possible thanks to Triple Tactics Thrust making every Normal Spell or Trap searchable and allowing a variety of plays.
I believe that Genesys could be the format where Konami can remove the side deck for more meaningful skill expression in mastering your deck and to avoid pointed cards just not seeing play in the side deck or allowing players to just side 15 cards out which could contain another engine for an advantage.
While this would create "meta handtraps" and "less desirable" handtraps in the deck, it would also give each deck a fair chance in a best of 3 and, in my opinion, improve future points updates.
What do you think?
In AGOV the continuos spell "The Immortal Bushi Mourns the Mortal Body" was released which turns every monster in your GY into Warriors.
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon equips a Warrior monster from the GY to itself as an equip spell when a "Red-Eyes" monster declares an attack.
This spell plus a little setup lets you basically equip any monster to itself in the GY.
Should Red-Eyes Slash Dragon be destroyed:
If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon as many monsters from your GY as possible, that were equipped to this card.
This little effect has no restriction on typing making it a slow multi-turn long setup Monster Reborn or ""free"" Soul Charge from 2-5 without downside.
The Continuos Trap card Rebirth Judgment could also be added to this deck to maximize the type change.:
Once per turn: You can declare 1 Monster Type; monsters in the GYs become that Type for the rest of this turn (even if this card leaves the field).
Now mixing this with Buster Blader makes the most sense since you could also call Dragon giving your Fusion and normal Buster Blader a nice boost for every monster in the GY of your opponent.
Concept deck core list:
Main Deck:
2x Red-Eyes Black Dragon
2x Buster Blader
1x Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman
1x Dragon Buster Destruction Sword
1x Red-Eyes Fusion
3x Red-Eyes Insight
3x The Immortal Bushi Mourns the Mortal Body
2x Destruction Sword Memories
2x Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman
3x Rebirth Judgment
---------
Extra Deck:
1x Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman
1x Red-Eyes Slash Dragon
1x Buster Dragon
---------

Which decks are currently the most popular in Genesys and what staples can you recommend for removal, backrow hate and boardbreakers? (Lets assume my engine requires 25 cards and I have 15 non-engine slots plus 7 Extra Deck slots and the side deck as well as 0 points spent so far because my deck is not pointed.) [asking for 1 Fiend deck and for a Gaia the Dragon champion deck]
