Sim Card options without ARC

Hey Guys!

I’m currently trying to buy a SIM card. I am an incoming international student and just arrived like a day ago. I went to multiple stores and all g they offered me were tourist SIM cards for in between 7 and 15 days.

I hold a resident visa, and will apply for the arc as soon as I have my long term rent contract but I would like to have a SIM card now and not later, it’ll make many things much easier.

I already tried Chunghwa Telecom and FET.

Does anyone know where I could get a SIM card that lasts longer than 15 days?

I hate how this subreddit is only about SAAS

I really don’t want to hate on all the people doing SAAS, like I get it, it’s easy and cheap to start and vey scalable and everyone can vibe code now.

But it is just annoying seeing every startup community just consisting out of people who self promote their dumb ass SAAS which literally no one asked for.

Jobsuche nach Auslandsstudium

Hallo Zusammen,

How to cut hours without being punished?

So apparently hiding your profile is not a good way, to avoid getting new students, cause it’ll mess up your stats.

Blocking students also punishes your profile, not replying to requests makes your profile hidden.

I really need to cut down on my hours because I’ll pursue further education, but it’s not possible without getting punished by the platform.

I have 45 active students and I keep getting more, sometimes I work 70 hours, and I can’t do that anymore.

I already raised prices by 100%, but i keep getting more and more trials booked, and if I make an even higher rate, I’m scared it’ll affect my conversion rate, as I’ve heard that so many ppl are just window shopping at very premium prices.

I know it’s a “luxurious” problem to have. But I need a solution, cause I can’t go on like this anymore.

Should I just raise my prices for all my old students and block the ones that don’t accept it, or what do I do? I’m actually fine with working at the old rate, however I cannot handle this many students anymore and of course would prefer to keep the ones who are paying literally twice as much as the old ones.

I’m Fabian, independent startup consultant with 4+ years in startup and business consulting. I also spent time at a boutique marketing and PR consultancy in Bangkok and have a Forbes published article on consumer behavior.

What I actually want to do is find a founder or small team and build the entire revenue and growth architecture with them. Not just advise on it, but own it.

That means coming in and structuring the full funnel from the ground up:

- Defining the ICP and making sure the positioning speaks directly to them

- Building out the awareness and acquisition layer, organic, outreach, content, whatever fits the model

Designing the conversion flow so leads don’t just land and disappear

- Setting up the retention and referral side so growth compounds over time

- And building the team and processes around all of it so it scales without breaking

I’ve worked with early-stage founders on market entry, BD strategy, and investor prep, so I understand how the funnel connects to the bigger picture of fundraising and growth.

Open to a cofounder role or equity arrangement. Ideally pre-seed or seed stage, with a product or clear vision already in place. Preferably b2b

Drop a comment or DM if this sounds like something you need. Happy to jump on a call.

Hey,

I’m Fabian, German. 4+ years in startup consulting, most recently at a boutique marketing and PR consultancy in Bangkok. Now I’m working independently with early-stage founders.

My main focus is marketing and positioning. Getting your story straight, making people care, and building the kind of narrative that actually moves investors and customers. Beyond that I help with GTM strategy, BD, and funding prep.

I’ve helped multiple early-stage ventures get funded, launch their first product successfully, and had consumer research published in Forbes. I also have a background in legal and corporate, which helps when things get more complex.

If your product is good but the messaging isn’t landing, or you’re not sure how to position yourself in a crowded market, that’s exactly where I come in.

Open to consulting, co-founder roles, and equity-only for the right project.

Only looking to work with people who are serious about starting a business. If that’s you, drop me a DM.
