Absolute nonsense

Absolute nonsense

I did an order a week ago, and the customer just reported today that I purchased the wrong item 🙄not a replacement, literally what she ordered. I scanned the box of shoes in Target and guess what it was right even matched the image.... look at this nonsense. The tag she is holding even matches the targets website. How was this verified by instacart???? I was tipped an entire $3.50 to drive 5 miles to Target, then shop and drive 5.5 miles to her. Low and behold, I also got a ding to my account on top of it. This was batched, so of course we don't know till it's over. Photos in the comments since I can only post 1

Pretty great offer 🙃

Why wouldn't these get combined at least since they're going in the same direction.

Insufficient funds error....

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it because I'm at a loss.

Over the last 2 days, I've had 6 different orders at Fry's where the Instacart card is declined for "insufficient funds." It's always just one order in the batch. For example, if I have a triple, Order C gets declined while the others go through, or on a double, Order B gets declined. I've even had it happen on a single order.

Every single time I contact support, I end up sitting at checkout for 40+ minutes while they have me retry the payment over and over. Eventually they cancel the order, tell me it won't affect my cancellation rate, and send me on my way.

Well... I checked my stats today, and my cancellation rate jumped from 1% to 5% because of these canceled orders. On top of that, I'm losing a ton of time sitting at checkout waiting for support instead of shopping or delivering.

Support keeps telling me they don't see any errors except mentioning the PIN, but I'm using the exact PIN the app provides, so that doesn't make any sense.

The only other thing I can think of is that my physical Instacart card is pretty worn down from using it so much. I don't know how that would cause an "insufficient funds" error instead of a card read error, but I'm mentioning it in case it's somehow related.

Has anyone else dealt with this recently, especially at Fry's? If so, did replacing your card fix it, or was it something else? I'm getting really frustrated because support has been no help, and this is now affecting both my earnings and my account.

I do this full-time, over 1500 orders. This has never happened and support is of no help. Please, someone guide me, I'm beyond stressed!

Acme tools is a joke don't waste your time

Extremely disappointed with Acme Tools’ customer service, communication, and delivery timelines.

I ordered a battery in April with an estimated delivery window of May 1–8. That date came and went with absolutely no communication. I only found out there was a delay after reaching out myself once the delivery window had already passed, and was then told it likely won’t arrive until late July.

Waiting nearly 3 months for a battery is outrageous. Delays happen, but failing to proactively communicate with customers or offer any real resolution is unacceptable customer service. Don’t even bother sending emails either — in my experience, they won’t reply unless you continue chasing them down yourself. At this point, I’d honestly suggest going with another company, even if it costs slightly more. At least you’ll actually receive your product in a reasonable timeframe. After this experience, I’d also suggest people trust what others are saying in the reviews. Unfortunately, the complaints about communication and fulfillment seem to be accurate. This feels like a company operating with a terrible business model that leaves customers paying the price.

I’m also becoming very skeptical of this so-called “back order.” Maybe I’m wrong, but my gut is telling me these aren’t even new products they’re waiting on. The lack of transparency throughout this entire process makes it hard to trust what’s actually going on.

Overall, a very frustrating experience and not a company I can confidently recommend.
